Amazing collection!!. I like the Maneki Neko cats very much, I think they are very lovable and sweet. But I've many less than you... I only have 2: one in withe color and another in black. But I love them!!!. ;-)
Probably around 99%. Though many Japanese companies have their neko made in China. In that aspect (based on actual location of? production) it would be about half and half, between Japan and China. Very few are American made.I'd have to say about 80% of my collection have been purchased via Yahoo Japan. The rest come mostly from Ebay and Japanese shops in California (when I can get out there)
WOW! Very impressive. I have a very tiny collection, it was bigger, but my ex took it with him when we split. I'm still sad. I mostly miss the maneki neko clock with the moving tail. lol. Good job, send some my way. lol.
im starting a collection of the maneki neko. right now i only have three.
two are key chains and the other one is just a reguler

Yahoo Japan auctions. I recently got a bell along the same lines: big koban with four kittens.
