I would have to disagree. Although many of the laws in Leviticus concern the Temple service, not all of them do and not all of them apply only to the priests. Furthermore, the law against homosexual intercourse comes right after the laws forbidding incest. Surely you would not say that incest only applies to the priest.

Actually "having the desire" is something you can help not having. Whether its homosexuality or other forbidden things people can and should work on themselves. Just having the desire and leaving it alone is not good becuase when the person in weak it could over come him/her. If its therapy that can help a person then do it. If its personal things a person figures out for themselves they should also use that.Desiring and thinking is also very bad. it says that bad (sexual)thoughts are forbidden.

The Torah also tells us to be loving. I do not approve of homosexuality because the Torah teaches against it. However, if you were listening properly he also said that torah said you could not carry out the urges. He only stated that the torah does not forbid the thought or the urge. Judaism does not ban Homosexuality? You say that Judaism has no problem with the Desire to be gay but it does have a problem with the "act" of having same sex relations.
If a person has a desire to be something, there is almost a 100% chance that the person will act on that desire, IF the desire is genuine and strong. It says doing Homosexual acts is an Abomination in Vayikra.

Firstly, there is a big difference between a swine and a man, gay or otherwise (with the obvious exception of Will Ferrel).
You obviously are unaware of certain core ideas within Judaism. One of the basic Jewish ideas is that if you have a desire or an urge, then there is NOT a 100% guarantee that you will act on it. It is one of the basic principles of Jewish Philosophy that man has the ability to suppress and control his natural desires and even to turn them and use them for good.

Rules against sodomy in Leviticus 18 and 20 are not legislating for ordinary human affairs.
Throughout, the authors of Leviticus are chiefly concerned with temple ritual. ritual bestiality, child sacrifice, and the cultic use of menstrual blood in sorcery. The verses against sodomy (Leviticus 18:22; 20:13)

I would have to disagree. Although many of the laws in Leviticus concern the Temple service, not all of them do and not all of them apply only to the priests. Just as a random example, Leviticus also contains the laws of Kashrut (dietary laws) but all Rabbinic authorities agree that these apply to everyone, not just the priests. Furthermore, the law against homosexual intercourse comes right after the laws forbidding incest. Surely you would not say that incest only applies to the priest.

oh i agree. in my understanding it was what temples etc and certain other places were used for. they highlight that homosexual intercourse is UNCLEAN, as many other sexual acts are in the literal sense, but applying them to modern society in the context of those who have monogomous relationships, i think is unfair when used in discrimination as in hatred.

The "Praise 7 times daily" has to do with the 7 daily blessings of praise which are to be said centered around the twice daily recital of "Shema." The sages established these 7 blessings in connection with Dawid ha-Melekh's statement of praising HaShem 7 times daily. Also... these 7 blessings are distinct blessings, though we almost always say them together. There are situations (in the Temple services) during which certain of these 7 are said independently.
