So i'm curious, and I don't know all that much about these kinds of robots, but what was the power supply for these guys? And did they use servos or dc motors?

Damn! Some of those are so fast it's SICK!

The one I built was based around high torque and lots of grip rather than speed. Turned out pretty good, it beat all the other robots. As part of our robotics class in college we get to do this. I must say the programming is a breeze once you have the hardware down. Weight and size restrictions make building the robot rather difficult, so a lot of thought must be made in the selection of parts and the overall design.

This is so sick, damn if you have knowledge of microcontrollers and C.. build one. I am trying to learn it. But i think there is no competition here... shame :/

Yea, not to mention the incredible amount of coding you'd have to put into it to tell it what to do. I just make one that runs to one side, and your big box with a fast motor will run itself off the mat.
