I happen to disagree, but it's cool that you're honest ;) I think this song is actually pretty deep, the hook itself is something I know I personally feel the need to ask quite often, I think it's actually VERY relatable on a mainstream level, I think that's what you're probably missing. It's not necessarily DEEP, but it's relatable on a grand scale. Just my thoughts.
