  • Better dead than red

  • a shame that you didn´t make a pun out of berlin walkies. to berlin wallkies.

  • It was a shame that she had to live under an Iron Paw!

  • Josef Stalin died in 1953, Laika flew into space in 1957 when was Nikita Khrushchev.

  • ...is that funny if a pet dies in ...the space?? cruel...assholes

  • @isifae Liaka wasn't a pet. She was a stray from Moscow.

  • @isifae It's not really supposed to be funny, but remember, it was the first living thing ever to get into space. The Soviets would later get the first living thing to go to space and return alive. And then the first man, and although she did die, it was essentially before sending a human up.

  • NOOOOOOOO U KILLLED MY DOG URRRRGE

  • The first living being to go into space was a bitch.

  • Stalin died in 1953, long before the space programme.

  • @draoi99 The entire song is just simply a joke.

  • @draoi99 Read the description.

  • LIFTOFFSKI

  • It is sad that Laika died in space but she died a hero for the soviet people URA!!!!

  • But Stalin didn't send Laika into space, Nikita Khrushchev did.

  • @QunTrom WOW! You are the thousands person to say that! YOU ARE SPECIAL!!!

  • @thorgod8 It's not like I read comments on youtube videos. Nothing entertaining in that.

  • sorry to spoil the party but Laika was sent to space much after Stalin's death. learn ur facts, commies. :-)))

  • @BulKorCal Yep, when the song came out Joel Veitch acknowledged that she was actually launched by Khrushchev (I think). If I remember correctly, his reason for using Stalin was a combination of artistic license and the fact that Stalin was seen as a far more fearsome/awesome ruler.

  • @BulKorCal And you should learn to read: "By the way, I am aware that it was really Kruschev who launched Laika into space, not Stalin, but we've used a bit of poetic license because Kruschev is a bit lame compared to Stalin"

  • i thought it was comrade like a rocket dog...THAT WOULD BE EQUALLY EPIC!

  • heheh

  • what am i watching

  • "Liftoffsky". That part is strangely hilarious to me.

  • @Nintenllamas is it literaly lift off sky???

  • i wanna play this at my funeral whilst being launched into outta space

  • the rocket should say CCCP

    or something close to that

  • 0:21 Frankeinstalin has a inversed hand

  • Liftoffsky~

  • WALKKIES WALKIES.....SPACE WALKIES!!!!!!!!!

  • HERO OF THE SOVIET UNION!!!!!LIFOSKI!!!!!

  • dancing communist cats.

  • @STALKER21213 Night soon fellow stalker.

  • @STALKER21213 what?

  • Where you have seen a female name in the Surname Khruschev? I from Russia, and I know as to distinguish a female name from a man's surname! I don't know English language I used "Google " .

  • Poor dog died in space :( great video!

  • Ban this Russia! haha

  • Hey guys this video isn't here for you to argue about animal rights

  • This is extremely ignorant, arrogant, untrue, and cold-hearted, like most of the humane race, sadly.

  • @quicksilver3x3 Plese feel free to end your suffering by topping yourself.

  • @staceylover77 What a vile, stupid thing to say to a stranger. That should instead be said to abusers of children and animals, but I'll bet you don't attack them... and they're in here. The truth got to you, so you hate the messenger. Typical.

  • @quicksilver3x3 Dude lighten up...its a cartoon 0_o

  • @S67Snail No it's not a cartoon, it was a real crime committed against a real, sweet, loving, innocent dog...even the scientist in charge said it should not have been done. And these sorts of crimes and much worse continue to be committed by "humanity" every day. I have a video on Laika that tells the real story. I 'lighten' up where appropriate, but thanks for your concern 0_o

  • @quicksilver3x3 It was also a stray dog which was first living thing to be sent into space...which now has its memory immortalised due to such a feat...not a bad way to go for a stray dog. Or would you rather send a human up there and his wife and kids mourn him?

  • @S67Snail Stop it, those excuses are just evil. People want to explore space, so they can do it themselves. Lifers or those on Death Row would volunteer for this nonsense. The way this dog died was a tragic waste of a precious life...again, even the scientist said so. His quote is in my video.

  • @quicksilver3x3 Get a grip. Get angry at worthless animal research like make up and some drug testing...not something which actually benefitted the human the species. without this you can kiss goodbye to most of sattelite technology and alot of whole other stuff.

  • @S67Snail I have a very firm grip, thanks, and what I said still stands.

  • @quicksilver3x3 And just to go back to your first comment...this is just a cartoon, I don't actually think it's an accurate description of what actually happened. so yeah...Lighten up dude.

  • @S67Snail No, you need to darken up and face the reality of evil.

  • @quicksilver3x3 You need to darken up and face the REAL evil....and not just jumping on shitty bandwagons.

  • @S67Snail Whatever...my video tells the whole truth...bye-bye.

  • @quicksilver3x3 No one gives a fuck about your video. Cya. =D

  • @S67Snail Exactly, most people don't give a fuck about the truth. Reap what you sow.

  • @quicksilver3x3 I already know the truth...I just don't see the point in getting worked up over a cartoon song...0_o

  • Wow, it's stupidly popular in Russia....

  • Nice video, but technically Pontius Pilates sent Laika into space, not Stalin.

  • 53 people are American space chimpanzees.

  • RIP Laika you now have your own song

  • Aaaaaaaaaah Stalin my foot, there was no space program during his time, she wasn't even born then but one year after that moustache beast kicked teh bucket(1954 for you who have no clue) just a future Nuclear war. Launched by Krushchev into space, during his rule the age of space started :p

  • @siralucard19 They know they just put stalin cus he rimes its in description and stalin is the most known leader i think

  • @siralucard19 so you're smart enough to pay attention in history class but you don't read the descriptions when you see something that needs correcting historically in a little humours video on youtube. I seriously don't understand you.

  • Stalin dance better than me :'(

  • In Soviet Russia dogs send you to space

  • @MrTrollmojo noo thats what happens in the rest of the world :D

  • like if you dance like Stalin to this!

  • Nukes in space. Russia's next challenge.

  • Exceeeept... wasn't she technically launched into space by Kruschev? Being that he was first minister at the time because Stalin was dead? Rathergood, I am disappoint.

  • @onecrazylemming

Description. Read. Now. It'll all make sense after you read it.

  • Lolwut

  • Very reminiscent of Red Elvises' stuff. Definitely enjoyed it.

  • is the tune based off a real song?

  • The (unintentional?) joke: the "USSR" rocket in the video is a Little Joe II, which was used to test the abort systems of the Apollo program. ;)

  • @ScoloCentipede seems like that we take this funny video too seriously :)

  • Those cats look like zombies.

  • funny cats)

  • Oh, come on!!! Stalin was died in 1953. And Laika went to space in 1957. Learn history!!

  • @gaffre86 It said in the description that they know. But Stalin fitted in better.

  • @gaffre86 it's a good example of how Americans imagine Russia :)

  • @sugarta "i'm british you muppet!"

  • In Soviet Russia, Stalin good dancer!

  • I didn't know it was a true story I had read about it in a story but I thought it was false lol poor dog

  • Correction to my previous post. My friend pointed out that my post should read Stalin was before leikas time. Moral of the story is think before you post

  • If I could rate this video higher I would. I understand that Laika was way before Stalin, but I still couldn't stop laughing!

  • Poor Laika... I can't believe even Stalin would send a dog into space with no chance of returning...

  • Is Stalin attempting a prostate exam?

  • Space Bat >

  • Every time he says 'die in space' I almost cry.

  • The Fuck..........

  • LIFTOFFSKI!

  • Stupid Americans what can you do.

  • Great song! :D

  • DAMMIT! my dog goes crazy whenever he hears, "walkies"... ITS 1:00 FREAKIN AM! SHUT UP!

  • @bleesev2 maybe you shouldnt be listening to this at 1 am or even be up

What the h Stalin is doing here?

  • I got a Beagle girl. I printed and placed a Laika Picture in her Dog House. She's gotta have good aspirations right?

  • Generic comment about number of thumbsdown:

45 guys were launched by Stalin into space.

  • 5....4....3, 2, 1, LIFTOFFSKI!

  • sounds like the leningrad cowboys :D

  • BAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA

  • This is awesome dude, and it's hilarious!

  • Beautiful, darling sweet little Laika - you were trapped and intentionally killed by those you trusted.

  • @Pondview126 Oh dear, another animal rights crybaby. Comrade Laika died in the service of the Soviet Union, and in the interest of advancing the research of space! An honorable way for a street dog to die, I should think, becoming the first living creature in outer space.

  • @AugustFirst1927 Hmm. This question is by no means derogatory but, are you Russian? Just curious. Like I said, not derogatory.

  • @AugustFirst1927 There is also a memorial statue of laika aswel..... :O

  • USSR CCCP or whatever you wanna call them Won the cold war. END OF STORY.

  • Oh, and the video/story about Laika reminds me of Trentemøller's video for Moan

  • This song reminds me of Gogol Bordellos

  • victor pretending to be russian is hard if your useing a german accent and cut and paste cyrillic

  • @driftingbosco Yeah, only I happen to know how my own accent really sounds and have a Russian keyboard. Hard stuff indeed.

Zis video very goot! So goot in fact zet I no understand why at it are still very less vievs zen at many sheet video`s! I sink it the hit, I no tire to votch it many times!

  • @VictorSobakus i understand most of what you're saying, this is what i read. video so good in fact that i don't understand why -- -- --- still very less----- --- at many shit videos! i think it's a hit, i don get bored of watching it lots of times! ----------, --------! that is all i can figure out. p.s i am not a translator, i don't speak russian i just know it for some reason.

  • Liftoffski!

  • stalin vs the martians soundtrack

  • Anyone notice the accent change in the beginning when he says "Hero of the Soviet state"?

  • laika was a puppy who lived all alone on the streets. she had to find her own food and she had to sleep outside. laika was hungry and cold most of the time. when she wasn't, laika liked to run and her tongue flew out behind her. one day, two scientists met her, and they felt bad about her situation. they decided to build her a home. they told her it wouldn't be any old home, but a rocket ship. there would be a button for doggie treats. laika could press it whenever she wanted to feel loved.

  • laika went into space when she was three. nobody ever saw her again. there were rumors she landed on mars, that you could see her pawprints in the red sand. others said she crashed. the worst were the rumors she decided to stay in orbit. what did it mean she wouldn't leave? there was nothing for her here.

years later, when people had built rockets big enough for humans, they wanted to know what had happened. no one knew, but they had a way. they'd chase her footsteps across the sands of mars.

  • Screw you you Bourgeois scum.

  • Walkies walkies! Space walkies! Walkies walkies! Cold walkies!

LOL! That's one of the best things in a song ever.

  • I want a tee shirt of 1:56 :D

  • @lucyinthesky16

That would be an awesome T-shirt for sure.

  • Also... Sputnik 2 burned up in earths atmosphere months after they sent her up. So no... Her body isn't up their still....if anyone is wondering that is.

  • @cooldit1 D:

  • Liaka actually never made it into space. She died before even getting out of earths atmosphere. This song is still awesome either way.

  • @cooldit1

Oh, really?? and what about flying 4 times around Earth with live Laika? she died only after it. And it happened because the temperature was getting higher - constructors made mistakes in size of sputnik and thermo-control. And sputnik burned only after half a year in April 1958.

  • @gaffre86 maybe 4 times, but Laika was still dead. If the russians had saidback then that it flew 4 times around before dying...they were most likely lying.

  • @cooldit1

Well, of course, if you were there you should know better :-) but i have some doubts.

I just believe in history of my county. Not everything, but such things - i do. But it's just my opinion
