Both players had his or her moments, yet C Viper was the overall. Not only did she do a good job of making the Gouki player intimidated, she also knew when to "stun and run" as i call it, and disable find the weak spot in that player to finish him off in the 3rd round.
It's not as hard as you think bro. Main reason why people think it's hard is because when doing it alot of people end the BK with down-back instead of back without realizing it and a normal comes out. Try finishing the BK with up-back instead of just back and it should come out everytime.
Beating people with C.viper is so satisfying because due to her high damage and low health, playing her is a risk. Yet nothing ventured..nothing gained. :) You come out a better fighting game player in general.
The game's artist's and animators got it all wrong, Gouki doesn't have a skeleton to show when hes electrocuted, hes just kick ass held up by awesome ^.^
I think the best part of the match showcases how good that Viper player was. In the second round when Akuma is about to connect with the Ultra as Viper is coming down, he uses the flame kick to avoid the Ultra.
gouki needs practice. why did he keep comboing into ex tatsu and forward/roundhouse tatsus? why not go into short tatsu into a shoryu for more damage and more meter. that extra meter could have gone into a few extra ex air fireballs.
Holy shit that was a good comeback in round 2 and 4. With the new DLC costumes for everyone C Vipers chest actually makes sense now, (instead of being this weird flat thing before)
the only thing i dislike about viper, is that she has gadgets to make her able to compete with "martial artists". i would have enjoyed her character more without the magical boots/gauntlets
the character diversity is what makes street fighter the best. every single character has a unique background, motivation, personality, and they're all interesting.
i love that viper uses gadgets for special moves. without the gadgets, she would be pretty boring and out of place tbh.
i do enjoy the character diversity and all the abilities. i really like c. viper as a fighter; i just hate that her flaming kicks are do to jet rocket boots instead of like kens shoryuken.

Ryu, Ken and Akuma have been around for ages, and there's been plenty of over practically-colour-swaps since then. Half the cast is just a block with one projectile, one anti-air and one combo special.
Guilty Gear, King of Fighters, hell even Soul Calibur... Kind of kill the series for character diversity.
some things are classics, you don't change classics. you don't buy a fucking harley to race a sport-bike...
just like you can't compare soul calibur to street fighter. if street fighter was a side-stepping fighting game, then we could talk. but its not, so until then, don't compare it. and FYI, Street Fighter I'm pretty sure has the best sales in fighting game history - there's a reason for it, its called a GREAT GAME.

It's like you know she's a damn good character, but using her is hard as hell. Kinda like Dhalsim. People underestimate him, but they don't know that he's almost useless at close range, but a beast at a distance. Viper's the only one with two of the three Stree Fighter III universal moves, a super jump and an overhead attack that dodges low. Gouken has the parry.

That was a very nice dodge made by Akuma right at 0:33. It's very hard to avoid a low Burning Kick right after getting up from a Temple Massage because the kick will hit both sides of the opponent if done correctly.
jab is a normal that is easy to perform. crouch or not then X if you are on normal 360 dpad or square on ps3. if you dont like jabs then you need to find another game to play

In fact, sell all your possessions that are made by the Japanese. If not, pls stop resorting to use such terms. This C.Viper is a pro player. im currently suspended from school because i beat someone up for calling street fighter 4 a button masher, i wasnt even part of the conversation but i heard it and so i ran at him, it was so worth it though, teach him some respect for sf4. >:(
To cancel the seismo hammer, you just press two punches right as the move is executed.
But, in order to throw two consecutive seismo hammers, you have to HJC (High jump cancel) the move as it connects (you can't HJC if it whiffs) and do the move AGAIN before Viper leaves the ground. This is easily done by Tiger Knee'ing the Dragon punch motion.
Example... Seismo Hammer -> Forward, Down, Forward, Up + Punch.
Notice the up motion. It'll be your HJC out of the DP, but instead she'll DP again.
vipers grabs (throws) are so annoying, you should only be allowed to use the grab (throws) while other player is in stars and not cheat with it during the match
0:28 she said "idiot" which is one of the very few Japanese words i know lol. Cool match tho, Take that stupid Hadoken-ers!

akuma is hard on iphone, he spams raging demon as you cant' punch or jump kick him out of it, you can't do a ex move infront of it to disrupt it
he keeps doing the text book , double kick, crouch middle kick, hurricane kickc to dragon punch
his hurrican kick can nick you from behind still and he'll follow up with a sweep
i'm just playing 'hard mode' too not 'grueling'
i can't jump hard kick to in the game aswell
