I would love to know if there are any Christians out there which have tried mushrooms, and thought 'Hold on a minute, I've been going to church every week, but have been barking up the wrong tree?'....
I'm sure many peoples first thought once the mushrooms kick in is 'Holy god,Jesus Christ', and the second is 'Why on earth are these beautiful creations of nature, illegal?.'.
After i tried mushrooms for the first time i felt connected to the earth and my own spirit. I realized how much more their was to life and than they have us to believe. From then on i never stopped searching for the truth.
@mrdelerious2009 I felt the same way, and i'm sure we are not alone with this conclusion, but the most amazing aspect was not the day which i tried them, but the weeks and months and years after, how they have still changed the way i view reality.
@mrdelerious2009 Good on you mate. Psychedelics show us as to what we are inside-they show the truth about yourself and that is why these religious bigots hate them. They are scared of seeing the real truth about themselves. They simply have no understanding of this subject at all. Vibes from Amsterdam.
The Sacred Mushroom & The Cross, good read, cause I read it. You should to. Eat some psilocybin/psilocin containing mushrooms, ride YOUR OWN CONSCIOUS. The cult of culture is not yours, take heed of many who rejoice in one. The forefront of the future lies on kNOwLEDGE. You were made to make your own history. Stress as little as possible. Sky is the limit, space is limitless. The rules are for the easily lured. Hype for the hypnotic. I've seen religion after eating the little truths of nature!?$
I believe the sacred musroom is indeed the psilocybin mushroom. Jesus Christs conciousness unwrapped itself and i was basking in his eternal love. it was amazing. i was weeping tears of joy. best day of my life..literally.
@DrQuantum27 Terence did believe that a lot of indigenous peoples religious experience came from psilocybin (easy statement). He actually believes that psilocybin catalyzed human consciousness and self-reflection and made us talking apes. He argues that chimpanzees took to the grasslands as the jungles began to disappear and one thing they do is turn over cow patties to find bugs. Ingesting psilocybin enhancing your visual acuity at low doses therefore making them better hunters/gatherers.
I really enjoyed this. I try to challenge my mind every day and the thought that Jesus may have been a muchroom, certainly does. I look forward to more investigation on this enthralling topic Thanks, peace.
As I understand it, human thought is all about ego (the self), who is "accepted" as the deliverer of truth. It has nothing to do with "actual" truth, only the perception of it. Only those that choose to detach from ones ego and the ego of others will be able to discover the real uncorrupted truth. We must associate with those that welcome possibilities and new ideas, not those that claim "stop looking everyone, I’ve found it" for most likely, at best, they have merely found a part. Peace
@cobra60six very well said man, but i think we must not only associate with people of those traits, but with education and knowledge try to associate with everyone, otherwise we will just speed up seperation , whereas we should try working towards unity, even if its along way down the road, our evolution as humans is miniscule. Peace bro
Hey, thanks for posting this! I didn't even know my old interview on RedIce was up on Youtube. :-) My book is available through my GnosticMedia*com website for those interested in looking at this further. I also republished Allegro's book The Sacred Mushroom and the Cross in 2009, which is also available on my website.
@GnosticMedia sweet! I had to stop buying books years ago because i just couldn't afford them..but i'd love to read yours and Allegro's book too. Perhaps I'll get around to it someday :) Thank you for your great work, Jan!
There is never such a thing as can't afford buying books! My philosophy is if you can afford to buy food you can afford to buy books, fuck everything else. Also, CHECK EBAY! I buy all my books off ebay and I generally get them for $1 and pay $3 for shipping, that is affordable for anyone.
This all reminds me of the people who have tried to challenge Darwins theories. Corruption corruption and conflict of interest clouds the knowledge so often .
We are only aware of 4% of the universe. The rest of it is dark matter & dark energy we know nothing about. How can you make a decission about god when you only have 4% of the information about the universe?
Christains do not have an open mind. They have their belief system. They are happy with their belief system & you are not goingn to change anything. Say what you like. Its water off a ducks back. You believe what you want to believ & so will they.
@loveflowers39 yeah except for most "Christians" just go to church cause its normal to their culture, and declaring themselves atheist would excommunicate them from their friends and family. its important to expose their belief system as bull shit in the hope they might emancipate themselves from it. the poles show that around 80% of Americans are Christian but we know that cannot be true.. there would not be enough churches to hold that many people. look at the streets on sunday, are they dead
when i initially heard john allegos take on this subject i sort of dismissed it as i do sometimes, but now that all his peers are coming out of the closet and supporting his theory... now allegro's material is worth revisiting it and throughly examine his work along iwith professor rush, irvin, and peers.
People don't want to let go of Jesus as savior because taking responsibility for your own salvation is a bit too scary. Most people don't want to go mushroom tripping either, but I highly recommend it as the best religious experience. Only have one at a time though. Nature knows how to dose you nicely :) Be not afraid my children, or thou shalt have a bum trip.........
yeah right, i always thought Jesus was a tripper, but now it seems he was actually a mushroom himself........Jesus saves and so does a good goldtop (stay away from those blue meanies though). Hahahahahallelujah!!!
@blisssis thats hindu. aka HOLY COW/SHIT haha. he's not so much the mushroom himself. he IS the experience you HAVE on mushrooms..i think anyway..just an opinion
