So she had a beacon? Then why did she ski down, take the gondola up to get help waisting valuable time? Yeah i know it´s not real but it seems a bit foolish anyway.

I saw several things that our guides have said never to do while searching.

Taking of gloves, moving to fast, starting to probe with a too big square.

I hope it was only a quick example film.

Is any paper work done in case everyone gets caught in another avalanche so that people know where to search or is that over the top.

@600795621 We had a avalanche awareness day just before christmas! The english guides who ran it were from Chamonix but were happy to travel to Val Thorens. Really great to get the basics, if scaring everyone a bit! If there is a group of you I'd recommend them, let me know if you would like details?
