Rap is not true music, although it has musical aspects (background sounds and a beat), 99.99 % of it just stupid , idiotic, rhythmic rhymes that perpetuates the culture of victimhood and attempts to legitimize hatred and crime ( with a great degree of success). Any one who actually likes it is either a criminal (with a sweet taste for shit when it comes to music) or is about to become one. I tried to listen to it but I can only take about 10 seconds of it before it makes want to puke.

You probably don't like certain types or modern art either, but that doesn't mean it's not art. So, as per the definition of music, Rap can be one form of it.
