No, this guy just sucks. There's plenty of good Asian fighters especially in Pride (Sakuraba, Fujita, Yosihida, Gomi, Misaki, etc).

No, not really. Sakuraba and Gomi are tops. Fujita has seen better days and falters against top competition. Yoshida is unproven, and Misaki is above average at best. Japanese are the only asians with hope of being killer in mma.

He took his mother's last name because his father abandoned the family and he never knew his father. You have already been owned when you said he was born in the U.S. which is incorrect. And also, the reason why Japan has hope of being the asian country with decent fighters is because MMA is a well recognized sport and has many organizations that promote MMA in Japan. Give China, Korea, Vietnam, Laos..etc etc. time to develop MMA, and they'll be right up there.
