You can stick the ak under your knees and just sit down like when you normally have to go. The Ak actually supports your body and it's quite easy "to go", just make sure you remove the magazine. We used that method in the Finnish military :)
If you are going to cache steel tools I suggest you coat the metal parts in a good layer of grease, tallow, or wax, then wrap wax paper around the coated object. That will prevent corrosion if moisture compromises your cache. Wooden objects can be permeated with linseed oil or melted paraffin to protect them from rot.
Hay Robert, I joined up to your web sight and I was trying to decide which program you offer would be best.My thoughts are learning to live long term wilderness are living off the land.Which course do you recommend for this.
@mogges1 I would recommend our Survival Standard course. Its 5 days and covers modern as well as primitive survival. Very comprehensive! Next class is in March! Thanks
that was some gnarly shit literally! hahaha! my youngest brother popped in right when you started talking about hunting and he damn near coughed up a lung laughing when he saw you hunting deer with an AK, "i'm still cracking up just thinking about it!" i know it works, but you gotta see the irony in a fully automatic weapon with iron sights made for war being used for hunting!
@Killahofosho Its not a full auto version and everything around here is mainly a 100 yds and under so its the perfect weapon for large game. All I need now is some picatinny rails and dot scope for shooting them when they are running easier.
@sigma3survivalschool i used a Reflex red dot for the longest time on my AR-15 and hated every second of it! i switched to a Vortex SPARC red dot scope and it's much more comfortable to use especially if your shooting between 50-150 yards! a bit pricey but worth the cost!
well nothing personal held back on this one, haha! great info though over all as usual, they keep passing bills like this latest horse shit going thru congress and we all maybe using these skills full time, real soon. we're using a lot of primitive skills mixed in with some modern equipment but what about indian shelters like teepees and the like, you guys have any plans to cover anything like that? if it worked for them?....
Ya snow works but dang it's cold!!! Great video bro:) lol steamer in the snow, cant beleive you showed that rofl... What stock was that on your AK? I have one kinda like that on my sks.
@houseoffire72 Not sure what the stock is on it. Yeah, I couldn't resist on the steamer lol! It was awful miserable and I had to throw some humor into it.
@sigma3survivalschool Great video. Some survival experts sound too serious, You make roughing it sound like a challenge to have fun. I'm curious what kind of knife you have in your hand at the beginning of the vid (In the still)? Looks sweet.
hey could you guys show the yo-yo trap a bit closer up i was wondering if it was just a regular like kids toy yo-yo or was it something else called a yo yo i would love to have a job like yours
i love this kind of video i watch these kind of videos because i think one day id like to just go out into the woods and try to see how i could fare by myself or maybe with just one person plus its always a good idea to know how to do something cause you never know what might happen
A little shitting hint!

If you are going to process food with the tool then use an edible grease.
