  • excuse me but what say Thom Yorke after the song i don't understand the name is marylin i love you sit back relax etc it's correct? please give me a answer, thanks

  • This kinda music is totally beyond the average American

  • Kid A is "Court Of Crimson King" of the 21st century

  • Comment removed

  • and Jonny's watching tv in the meantime

  • @maxtej he is watching his own performance? XD

  • Video is from teh bonus DVD that comes with the Kid A 2009 re-release. I should know. I boughts it. Delicious album :3

  • this is the best song radiohead has ever written in my opinion, i dont care what anyone says. Kid A, isnt exactly my favorite of their discography but this song cant be denied. the bass line and the drum beat are pure genius.

  • I thought this was an impossible song to be performed live... but radiohead always shows us why they are the greatest UK band since led zeppelin..

  • To my future children: watch and know greatness.

  • See that up there? On the screen? It's not a band. It's a bunch of super human geniuses creating these amazing sounds which transform into music thats out of this world. Then they became humans but very talented genius humans with there other albums, but haven't been able to become these crazy talented aliens since.

  • Radiohead & Pink Floyd: best sound bands of ever

  • mrauuuu!

  • pretensious. boring. zzzzzzzzzzz

  • @Gd10034 It's "pretencious"

  • To the seizure comment, maybe he's feeling something and not standing there like a fkin statue. This ain't the stone age flintstone

  • THIS IS FUCKING ART!

  • Thom Yorke always looks like he's having a seizure while performing

  • @Zachtheflintstone Yeah It's so much better to just stand there and act like sad and "cool" right?

  • I KNOW I heard this in a trailer for a film or in a movie......any one have any idea where I might have heard this? Please help, it's driving me crazy.

  • Greenwood is playing what is called an Ondes Martenot...

  • @zappa251 Yep, though he doesn't use an actual Ondes Martenot in live performances since it's so expensive and tough to lug around. He uses a synth-like thingy called 'The French Connection' which substitutes for an Ondes pretty well.

  • Yeah Kid A was just genius, they dared to push the envelope. When I first listened to it, I hated it, but now its my best album of theirs.

  • ils m'ont fait aimer la section cuivre...ouaow mythique!

  • The whole band is rad, however Thom totally owns!!...Its lyke he touches your soul when he sings..lol

  • how do they make it sound better and better each time i hear it.....RADIOHEAD HEAVENLY SENT

  • Anybody have any idea what sort of instrument/synth thing Johnny Greenwood is playing?

  • class song,class band:D

  • The Ayurveda Cover of this song is amazing. you need to check it out.

  • @stooge81 This song is an acquired taste. It took me ages to get into Kid A and especially this song. Now its one of my favourites.

  • My balls ascended when i heard the bass started up at the begining....

  • i love the wierd breathy thing he does when its live. hes so cool.

  • The SNL performaance of this song was EPIC ...Probably the best SNL musical guest ever.

  • Kid A? or In Rainbows???... i simply cant choose :]

  • This is one absolute motherfucker of a bassline.

  • 2:00 slight Pee-wee Herman resemblance?

  • I am a spazz, takes one to know one!

  • Wonderful performance. When I finally see Radiohead live, I hope they play this song. One of my favorites.

  • lol face at 3:08 was just :O

  • I Love Kid A...its so avantguarde!!

  • epic faces Thom Yorke makes

  • life would be different without radiohead because it is different with radiohead

  • omg this song was the best song they played live when i saw em 2 years ago. the drums were way crazier and they had an electric guitar goin over that bass line. it was AMAZING!!!

  • i remember reading after this album came out, in an interview with thom, he was asked about the horn blowing in this song. He said.." I asked them to come in and do there thing, didnt tell them what i wanted only said do it, and this was the result",,,Friggin Fantastic...

  • I fell asleep listening to Kid A for 2 years straight

  • Thank god Radiohead listened to krautrock.

  • this insanely amazing

  • Thom is absolutely manic in this. although theres not much goin on with guitar, there all just in a trance by their own performance.

  • crazy bass riff man

  • MIND BLOWING!

  • Just awesome....

  • absolutely amazing..

  • kinda reminds me of 'one of these days' by floyd

  • @bloodriver3 yeah good reference. One of these days I'm gonna XXXXX to XXXXXX!!!!

  • cheers to them sounding like floyd....listen to time and then listen to this song...focking brilliant!

  • Radiohead really reminds me of pink floyd

  • LIVE WHERE!

  • Good song but why do they make the beat faster?Lame.

  • @ peter1miler : agreed.

  • very very massive!!! their guitars...saxophones...and plus electronic...! Thom, i see, 's just getting HIGH! I'm too!

  • Lovely song after a crap day at work...all those tromblephones and saxamafoodles going nuts just drains the tension right out of your body...

...and it's so great to see Thom in a place where he appears totally free and happy...poor fellow, bowed under the weight of all that musical genius- his dancing is hilarious ;-) I bet Mozart danced like that when no-one was watching

  • @agatamatylda

I read once that one of the inspirations for this song is the jazzman Charles Mingus...

  • Jonny looks like a bear or something like that....

  • It makes me so happy that the biggest band in the world is so wildly experimental.

  • the biggest band in the world would have to be more than basic in order to be the biggest band in the world even though todays mainstream is nothing more than basic.

  • il would fuck u in the ass hole if u speak out like this again

  • what did i do?

  • The Ondes Martenot?

  • isnt that a theremin

  • It it Ondes Martenot.

  • their music is perfect for any movie, i made a documentary using most of their songs and the junction between sound and image is perfect...it brings tears.

  • pretty sure the baseline could induce an orgasm, and that's just on headphones, standing in front of the amps I'm seeing people disolve to a gooey liquid

  • greatest band ever. no man can deny that.
