I was 14 going on 15 when I saw this story arc. I fell in love with Days. I wanted so bad for John and Marlena to get together not knowing their history at the time.

One of the best storylines of Days history.

It does and it doesn't. She wasn't possessed during the queen of the night story, but it was explained that because Stefano corrupted her dreams he left her vulnerable to the devil. So, it was Stefano who lead to Marlena being possessed.

This was the coolest, most out-of-control storyline ever. Nobody but Deidre Hall's Marlena could have made this work. Only she could have been more evil than Stefano...and made it believable! Awesome stuff.

I agree. Hopefully this new storyline pitting her against Stefano in revenge for John's 'death' will bring the focus back to where it should be - Deidre! If DAYS has to end, what would be more fitting than ending Stefano's reign of terror at the hands of Salem's most beloved character.
