There is one thing that has really bugged me and everyone else I know who watches this show. Where is Batman? Gotham City has been mentioned a few times and yet no mention of a vigilante wearing a bat suite. Come on people. Heh HAHA! I can't be considered a true DC fan, so my opinion probably isn't worth much, but I would think that it would be because Batman is an adult in the DC universe, and the only time BM and SM meet up was when they were adults. Robin would work, as I've seen a cover of the Teen Titans comics that has had Robin and teen SM working together, but I suppose that the adult thing would make a conflicting timestream again, as Robin was sidekick to BM, who was an adult. But I'm a marvel geek sooo.

No no I'm really not a DC expert ether for I too really grew up with Marvel Comics. It wasn't until later that I started to like DC Comics and it's Characters except for the movies and some of the Cartoons I really like the original Batman cartoon in the early 90's. What really got me hooked on Smallville was that when it started they said from the creators of X-Files. But, ever since I have befriended many experts of DC comics and SM so that's where my info comes from.

Warner Brothers didnt allow Batman in anything other then the Batman movies, Batman was replaced with Green Arrow in one Justice League episode.

I think it is safest if you think of as Green Arrow and Oliver Queen playing the part of Batman and Bruce Wayne.

And in the pilot Lana, quoting Nieschze, asks him if he's "Man or Superman". The term "superman" is a generic term for a person of extraordinary abilities. The word "Kryptonite" is unique to the comic book world of Superman. It would make NO SENSE for him to hear a word on the radio that is unique to his fictional world. Expecially when "Kryptonite" was the term for fragments of his homeworld, a place no one but HIM is supposed to even know about.

Maybe not but he approved it. And if I'm not mistaken I think he might have helped direct a few of the first episodes, like RIGHT before he died. No he did NOT approve it. there would be absolutely no reason for him to. DC comics had to approve it because they own Superman. CR only ever played supes in 4 movies years ago. He also never directed any episodes and "the first episodes like RIGHT before he died" were filmed 3 years prior to his death. Also Bizarro was in only 3 episodes during the series and MANY people including myself thought their take on him was amazing. Don't talk about things you don't understand. You look like a fool.
