I played this game... The game play is not that good. Along with the English voice acting... I mean the voices don't even suit the characters! The game is just so odd... With your only attack being pointing at people and using some gravity telekineses or something.

With 32-bit pixel graphic games, the graphics can be "bad" because it fits in with the game and it enhances the illusion of the virtual world. For other games (racing simulators, fps's etc) the graphics generally have to be more realistic because the game world demands a level of realism to complete the illusion that the game creates.

This one looks particularly...shoddy, and I'm generally not a negative judge. I mean, I didn't see one interesting part in the trailer and the graphics resemble something you'd find on GameCube. The novelty of throwing shit around with your powers wears off pretty quick, and if you play straight through the game it's only a 9 or 10 hour journey. I'm sorta disappointed I shelled out fifty bucks for this. It has it's cool and fun moments, but in general, the game just isn't worth it. But if you're an achievement whore, this game gives you a lot of medals to earn.

crystal chronicles is a really fun series, vivid worlds and delicious music. Centered around a lot of hack and slash type multiplayer stuff though I'd call it square's take on gauntlet, not that that's a bad thing, i've loved every one i've played..good storylines too, .its just very different than regular FF. i'm probably going to get this game, specially if it has wifi support.
