Megabyte and buster have ripped up many other bots. A well built spinner with a good driver is one of the hardest combinations too beat. You can look at team whyachi's web site..under parts, and i'm pretty sure their the ones who built the frame and weapon on buster and the shell for megabyte.

Spinning bots or robots with spinning weapons never seem to do that well. A cliche wedge bot could have won easily after the full-spin robot stopped spinning.

Super Megabyte (the one with the shell) is spinning 160 pounds of chrome molly steel. The blades are traveling about 200MPH. So it's not that they are both weak it's that they were both so strong they cound not be destroyed. Something electronic broke in SMB. Both robots had many problems after that fight. Buster was busted up a lot more than it looked like and lost his next fight or two because of the problems caused by that fight.

With some spinners you have to deal with gyroscopic forces that can REALLY affect driving. Usually vertical spinners have this problem but horizontal and even some full body spinners have this problem too.

I think it's either a lack of driving practice (pretty common), or the robot's possible lack of good traction.
