Starbucks is great, the best instant coffee by far, and at 5 for 3 bucks I can't see it as expensive. Other coffee is cheaper for a reason, but 60 cents is not expensive.
What a great "experiment" mrsdjsdj. This definitely gives you a good idea of your system in use. Good to note that the weather was perfect & that you were thinking about other scenarios. Great video idea & thanks for sharing!
Hey buddy, try Medaglia D'Oro instant espresso coffee. I'm sure you've seen it at your local market. It is supposedly espresso but brews like regular coffee. I used to like Via but the Medaglia is much cheaper and tastes incredible. They offer it in a small jar for around $4 or a large steel can for about $6.50
good video. between the ramen and tuna it's closer to 1000mg. (2 servings per container). I love tuna and have switched to the starkist very low sodium( 30mg/serving) , and quick cook penne rigate 3 minutes by American Beauty pasta. the 5oz white albacore tuna can has a quick pull tab for easy opening. I liked this video testing and sharing with us. Thanks. Jim
Yes, salt does make you thirsty, but I was drinking that much "before lunch". I filled my 1 pint flask 3 times, plus used 1 1/2 pints for lunch. Starbucks does taste good. I drink the "automatic drip" grind every day.
Thoughts: (1) Starbucks coffee: you get what you pay for. For a morale booster is it really that expensive? I doubt it. (2) It's a short "a" in Raman. (3) Lots of sodium makes you thirsty. (4) I would put something else than water in the flask. :o) THANKS!!!
@mrmonkeyman50 Hey mrmonkeyman, no the starbucks via isn't that expensive at amazon it comes out at .75 a cup. I think when compared to the tasters choice it seems pricey because the tasters choice is very cheap. take care
