What are the shaders? Where can I get'em? Are they the ones that come with Pete's OpenGL2 v2.9? Thank you. I play the game on a AMD PhenomII x4 840 3.2GHz, 2GB RAM and a Geforce GTS250 2GB. Still, the game lags at some points, for instance in the battle against Raven when he shoots, there is a great fall in the FPS. What can be wrong? I can upload a screenshot of my config if necessary.

Have you tried to output the game to an HDTV instead of your monitor? If so, how does it look?

Sound sucks, try to use Eternal Plugin and use ASYNC mode simple, then it looks nice and sounds great

@NeroZaveria i know, its because i have a shitty pc... bought a new one, just waiting the delivery time. wait a few more days and i'll upload new ePSXe videos, PCSX2 videos (if my new pc can handle), random gameplays, etc.

@cecius123 no harm done ;) Sounds great, but don't be upset if MGS2 and MGS3 wont work properly with PCSX2 even on a strong pc, its really demanding and I have my problems with 'em :D I'm looking forward to your vids, if you want to see my config, I will be uploading a MegaMan 8 walkthrough/Lets Play in the future ;)

@NeroZaveria Wish i can play MGS3 on the emulator... MGS2 i already played on PC ;D i bought the new AMD processor, the A8-3850. Will overclock to 3.6Ghz and see if it can handle PCSX2. Sure! i'll watch your vids when you upload them!

@FinalFantasyBlades Hey (NeroZaveria here, new channel, dont mind :D) Simple gets you some choppy sounds but overall it gives better asynch compatibility resulting in better sound, smooth mode needs a very strong cpu to funvtion properly but sounds great if it runs correctly, unfortunately MGS is one of the games that messes up the smooth mode, so simple mode should be the one of choice

@FinalFantasyBlades MGS messes around with the Sound after loading savestates and nobody seems to know a solution. Just use the regular savefunction since it lets you save anywhere anyways. MGS is a red flag in the history of Emulation, MGS2 and 3 demand such a huge load of power that even the PCSX2 has problems with them on strong machienes

@FinalFantasyBlades It emulates the full PSone, so there are two MemCards emulated too ;) experiment a bit with resolutions and graphics, every game responds in another way to the plugins, so feel free to explore the setting you find is the most good looking for you ::)
