  • I am 36 years old is it wrong to want one :) awesome video of the buggy btw.

  • @Oddman76

There's absolutely NO reason why it would be wrong to buy one!

The older the boys, the bigger their toys! ;-)

And thanks for the compliment on the video.

  • how much speed??

  • @panosvafiadis

    We radared it at 65Kmh

  • hello nice video and beautiful landscape where are you here?

but do not ever stop with the buggy:) but at temperatures that come with the motor and controller?

  • @hyper92ful

We live in France, as stated above.

Not sure I understand the temperature question...

  • @AdrenaCo

it stops the engine temperature is high?

  • @hyper92ful

No, only when the ESC would get too hot...

  • @AdrenaCo Very nice! Do you think this will run off of nimh batteries? I just dont trust lipo. I have a 45mph (72kph) rc18r that i know can go over 70 but im just afraid to use lipo batteries.

  • @Inklebonker1

Yes, it will also run on Nimh batteries. Just not as fast...

Don't worry about Lipo batteries, if you follow the normal precautions they are the best.

They are much lighter too, which is a real advantage for handling and performance!

  • @AdrenaCo Thanks ill give them some thought. Also is this model waterproof?

  • @Inklebonker1

    Well, not really...

The canopy protects the interior quite nicely, but water will still get inside. The on/off switch is right in the spray of the rear wheel... and the original servo (which we already replaced since it did not have metal gears) is not waterproof. Not sure about the ESC. The receiver sits in a nice little box, but also not 100% waterproof.

My son made some transparent covers to protect the switch, the ESC and the servo, but it still is not waterproof.

  • @AdrenaCo I guess ill just go back to looking at traxxas rcs. I love large scale buggies but its a shame when you cant drive in mud or snow.

  • @Inklebonker1 i drive mine in the snow and mud! and its electric.

  • @dacal86 How would you say this stacks up against the e revo?

  • Yes, two posts down I wrote that we lasered it at 65Km/h ;-)

  • do u know the top speed of it

  • Nice vid........

    What batteries are you using?

  • @gghhh5r5

My son uses 2x Turnigy 5000mAh 2S1P 20C hardcase pack

  • The view is amazing there, good camera work and excellent driving. Keep some power on when you come down the street and turn right so it goes slide ways!

  • @RF3seeker

Thanks, will pass the driving compliments to my son ;-)

Down the street and turn right is indeed great (unless if you don't make the turn and you fly into the downhill field like we did..(see at 1:40...) ;-) ).

  • Wow, where do you guys live, that place is beautiful. These just came out over here in the states, don't know where to buy one yet. :-) Nice video!. :-)

  • @Pepindits

Thanks, we live in France, but really, the place where we live is just a pit hole... ;-)

You could consider purchasing on Ebay (best prices in the UK, not sure about shipping costs and / or customs duty though)...

  • Nice video. Planning on getting one myself. Although tempted with the truggy version. Get some more vids up if you can.

  • Ok, highest speed measured in standard setup with 4S1P 5000Mah 20C Turnigy Lipos is 65Kmh. And these are real Kmh!

  • How fast does it go with 2X 2s lipo?? please answer?

  • @FunnyGuysXD

We still did not have a chance to really test this...

We already measured 58Kmh just for fun, but it was not running at full speed.

After that my son went to the track where he had a crash, so we were waiting for new parts...

But we just finished the repairs this evening and fitted new tires, so maybe we'll have a chance to laser it at top speed tomorrow!

  • How long you can drive with 2x 2s 5000mah Lipos?

  • @MeisterHoshi:

My son has "no idea"... but "thinks" it is about 10 to 15 minutes... I'm sorry, it's the best I could get...

  • @AdrenaCo

    Thank you

  • I can in Nimh ?

  • @korne7

The battery bay will also take two 7,2V NimH packs (with Deans connectors), but your performance will be less.

  • @AdrenaCo Thank you

  • Nice car man,picking 1 up myself in a few days :)
