Watch the minimap pinging at the beginning.. The ping gets faster when he's supposely 'speed hacking' and at the point when he starts running in circles the minimap ping is skipping and flickering because the video is so sped up its not a smooth animation anymore.
Great video! With such a high speed you can easily see how slow the animations in doors, boss animations etc. are. Also monsters are way too slow to react to fast-moving players.

No it's a hack for sure. Watch the fight with Jondar. The barb goes in slow motion while the Templar finishes off Jondar at an obvious normal speed. Also the skeleton king is moving much slower than the player, I think that verifies the fact that the video isn't at x2 video speed. Hopefully this gets fixed quickly by blizzard.

All visual animations will of course be faster because the game process is doing more CPU/GPU cycles per second.

I'm glad they found a major cheat like this in beta instead of retail -- this would make item farming and pvp way easier -- if some had it, everyone would need it. I hope to hell they make Diablo 3 as cheat free as WoW is.

@wildereon Except that he didn't just FF the video. If he had, the game (mobs, destructible environment, KL, etc) would be moving just as fast as he is. Think about it.
