  • I am absolutely sure that my son was abandoned by his birth mother because the baby was found in a bush behind a housing area. He was left there wrapped up in a piece of newspaper and he was bitten by ants. If he is kidnapped, then the kidnapper would not have leave him there. Secondly, this happened in Sarawak, Malaysia and not other place. In my country, baby kidnapping is very rare and is pretty unheard of.

  • How are you so sure this was an abandoned child. Perhaps the child was stolen from it's family and they are heartbroken not to have found him

  • @barabinom Also, the authority placed a huge report in the local newspaper urging his birth parent to come forward to claim the baby. The report was accompanied with his photo. If this is truly a child taken by force by his parent, would his parent not come forward to claim him? So, I hope this answer your questions.

  • watching this video really touched me as this is how adoption was intended to be this is what adoption is for and it's beautiful seeing it done as the way it was meant. I am a mother of adoption loss, I did not abandon my baby, my parents forced me to give him to older people and that adoption was wrong, it has wounded me and my son in a way no one understands but us. I wish people knew how damaging it is to separate mother and baby just for adoption, however yours was how adoption is intended

  • @raffynjenny

My heart goes to you. Your parent probably had good intentions. But if I am your mum,Sometimes, our parents made wrong decisions but I hope that one day, you and your son will be reunited in a better situation where you both can love one another. Please don't be bitter or angry but try to work your way into being a happy person. It will make you a better mum when the time come. Trust your heart.

  • @1963chia Awe thank you so much for your encouragement, my son and I reunited in 2008, A lot of promises were made to me that were never kept however I received updates for 18 years telling me all had been honored, my poor son when we reunited knew nothing, all the updates for 18 years were lies, his adoptive parents then pressured him to end reunion to move on he met me now time to move on, that is not what I was promised, he is back in my life though regardless, I am angry with them however

  • @raffynjenny I can understand how hurt you must had been. I probably think that the adoptive parent are very insecure people who fears loosing "their adopted child" back to "biological mother." But nevertheless, you both had been reunited and now he will know the truth. For every adopted child, their anger is focused on being rejected by their real parent. They just want to know that they had not been rejected. I hope you will heal in time and that you will find hope and peace.

  • A day old baby can't cry with tears...

  • @Torija0709 Thanks for telling me that. I did not know because I never had a baby. However, my son was checked by qualified medical doctors when he was brought into the hospital. The doctors wrote in his medical report that he is a newly born infant estimated to be about a day old.

  • touching story, but where is his mother? You never said anything about trying to reunite the baby with his mother!

  • @Sammicsno The child was abandoned by his birth mother. Great effort by both the authority and myself was put in trying to locate the birth mother. We had even place an advertisement in the local newspaper trying to locate the birth mother but no person came forward. We did our best but apparently, the birth mother for reasons known only to herself first made the choice to abandon this child and not come forward when we tried to reach out to her.

  • good effort. u put this together into a video. i hope to see the part 2 of his life

  • Why does he have a Japanese name?

  • We wanted a Pan-Asian name for our son. My husband suggested Kenji and I like the sound of it. At the same time, Kenji by origin is Japanese which carries the meaning of wise, modest, healthy, intelligent (Ken) while (Ji) means no.2, intention hopes. So, I felt that it would be so appropriate because I want him to see his life with us as the second life which is full of hope and that he will grow into a wise and modest man.

  • @1963chia He is so beautiful. I'm Japanese, so i was wondering about the name. So nice to see little Kenji loved and cared for. I will be thinking of Kenji and your family.

  • My son goes to a school where there are also Japanese kids. The parents had like you wondered why we gave a Japanese name to my son too! I am also given to understand that KENJI if written in the chinese characters means "Good Luck". Thank you for your kind words. My hope that Kenji will grow up to be hardworking and gentle, like the Japanese!

  • Thank you for your kind words. I'll be posting one video on Kenji in his first concert performance. So I hope you will get to see it.

  • God Bless!

  • Thank you for sharing your song with me. My husband and I have made a compilation of videos depicting scenes of Kenji in school, at holidays, etc. We hope that by watching these videos, he will realised that though we are not his birth parents, we love him so much and that our love will make up for his lost at birth. If you are willing, i would love to write to you a little bit more. Please do write to me. My email is p.challenge@gmail.com.

  • i dont know how i;'d make it through life without inspiration such as this

  • Yes! Praise GOD for blessing u & ur hubby such a beautiful boy:)

  • I am so happy for you

  • The world is a better place for having people like you and your husband in it. To offer this child the gift of a new life, surrounded with love and devotion is a lesson to us all. If only we could all reach out like this and touch the life of another human being, perhaps there would be more hope for children like Kenji. I wish you and your family well and know that Kenji will continue to bless your family as he grows and matures and becomes the son every parent would be proud of. Bless you all.

  • Kenji is now 3 1/2 years old. He's a typical toddler who can be very naughty. But each time I hear his laughter and watch him play with his daddy, I am always amazed at this miracle that was given to me and my family. I thank you for your kind words and encouragement.

  • what an adorable baby!!! i think i will adopt when i am older too!!! u r sooo lucky. he is a gift!!!! enjoy him!!! =]

  • Thank you for your kind words. You are so right. We are so lucky to have him. It's ubelievable to see him now, running all around the house and enjoying his wholesome laughter. He is now 3 years old and of course, he can talk back and speaks his mind now. But he is a beautiful child and we would always thank God for such a blessing.

  • Very beautiful story God bless your family

  • Thank you for for your kind wishes. It is heartwarming to know that our story will bring some joy and cheers to others. God Bless

  • very very insperational. it really inspires me to become even a better father . god bless you.

  • I know you will be a good father. My son enjoys a very close relationship with Daddy. They are best friends and I hope that it will stay like this for a long long time. The father and son shares many special moments together doing stuff like insect hunting, picnics, soccer, etc. I truly believe that anyone can be a good father as long as they sincerely love thier child. God Bless You.

  • An inspirational story, what a gorgeous son you have. He is luck to have found a wonderful family too. Best wishes for a great future together. xx

  • Thank you for your kind wishes. Everyday when I come home from work, I always marvel at this little boy who is so enthusiatic about life. He is such a joy and I thank God for giving me this miracle.

  • Angela, I love meeting people from other countries, I spent a year in France during college. How kind you are to help this little girl.

It is unfortunate that foreign adoption is so expensive and difficult.

It really hurts all the children who are waiting for a family. Are there a lot of children in need of homes in your country?

    Thanks for answering my questions.

How is your little boy now?

Mine 2 boys are 4 and 12 now.

    Love, Jill

  • Yes, there ae many children here who would need a home. However, if you were to adopt from the children home, it is very difficult. Adoption arranged directly with the biological mother is so much more simplier.

My little boy had just attended pre-school but is very nervous about being left at school. So daddy has to accompany him at all times!! God Bless you & your kids!!

  • What a great video. Best wishes to you and your family. I love these type of videos because they are uplifting and show just how many good people there are in the world. He is just beautiful!

I am sure his Birth mother must have been desperate to do something like that. I look forward to seeing an update. I don't know that much about your country but I was glad that you were able to adopt him. Adoption laws are different in other parts of the world.

    A mother from Ohio

  • Greetings to a mother in Ohio. Thank you so much for your kind words. I am now working very closely with the Children Home that I've adopted him from and is hoping to look for a parent who will be willing to adopt a 8 years old Chinese girl. She is really beautiful. I hope that my prayers will be answered soon. Warmest Regards. Angela

  • It's hard to understand why someone would do that to a child...but what a lucky boy to have been found and raised by a loving family like yourselves! He is a gorgeous boy and looks so happy :)

  • Thank you for your kind words. He is our world and we are truly blessed to have him in our life.

  • Conratulations on your beautiful son! What a wonderful adventure story you share with him. He radiates Go's love in all the pictures!

  • Thank you for your kind words. I have to agree with you absolutely on Kenji radiating God's love. Each time I am down, I just need to see him to know that God is near and that God had given us such a precious gift. Thank you and God Bless You.

  • Dear Kitten Shine

Thank you for your lovely words. Kenji had been with us for almost two years. Against all odds, we had managed to get the court to grant us legal adoption of him. He is now 2 years and like any other 2 years old toddler, full of life and surprises. We thank God for such a precious gift and we thank you for your kind thoughts. Angela

  • That was a beautiful story. I got teary. It was soo nice of them to adopt him,well...mostly lot's would, though it was still nice. =] And why would someone do such a thing leaving him outside,at day one in harsh treatment? /Anddd/,what are the odds of having him on Christmas? xD Well, whatever it is,may God make his life happy (As if it isn't now ^-^). :D

  • Well, the fact that you adopted him and are raising him and loving him and doing what God called you to do makes you very loving and special people. He's so adorable. What's his nationality? I was going to say Filipino but not sure.

  • Hi Cindy, My son is a Malaysian like us. We are not sure about his family because he "lost" his family at birth and was taken in by the Malaysian Welfare System. But looking at his features, we strongly believe that he has chinese parentage. We had just won our custody case and he is now legally ours. I've done a video on our new found happines and i'll post it out soon. I hope you will enjoy it. Warmest regards Angela
