It was a blessing Chicago did not get the Olympics. Hosting Olympics are good if you are not bankrupt and can afford it. Another thing is the average American would not have been able to afford tickets to see events. Daley did not even explain how they would pay for this. But we know the average Chicagoan would have seen tax hikes and would have paid for this probably until 2046.
