PRS is, IMHO, at the top of the food chain when it comes to mass produced guitars and amps. Gibson, Fender, Schecter, Ibanez, and Jackson (I know, they're owned by Fender) are all good and still produce great instruments, but Paul has that Mojo going for him the others do not.
I love PRS - a wonderful nerd who says what he means... right up to a point... then you can hear him thinking: "You're a company owner now... remember that... um... what did the PR guy tell me to say when someone asked this question?"
More power to him though. His company does a pretty darned job of staying small while growing large.
Up close and personal with paul!... always fun to listen to him talk so enthusiastically! I'm jamming on my PRS single cut trem, whilst watching these vids!.. pure class!
Paul Reed Smith was as honest as he could be and i appreciate that. But it's just funny how the kid in the blue shirt looked bored the entire time..lol
I wonder if the kid even plays guitar or if he has rejected it because it is his "dad's thing". At that age if he played and there was a guitar around, the kid would be playing it. I guess we'll see in the future what he does.

My favorite PRS was also the simplest: Just a mahogany tung-oiled ONE PIECE body with and neck Custom. No top or nothin'.

It's the sound and feel that counts, the look isn't that important,
