I can get ALOT of Milani products here , they aint expensive here either but really nice eye shadows in great colours, i bought the " milani runway eyes in the # 03 couture in purples" but i can get more colours and they have 6 shades on the pallette. all other Milani products too.

The reason the MAC glitter she showed is called blue, even though it looks white is because if you put it over a black shadow, it is a very pretty deep blue color.

I just purchased Maybeline's Pink Please in Canada, and it does not look the same, it's like a dark pink :( anyone know what that color is called in Canada?

I checked out the Canadian Maybelline site and the American one, and the pictures do seem to look slightly different. However, they all seem to have the same names. On the American website, the Pink Please does look more like a darker rose - did you swatch it? It might go on light!

I'd say to check out "Peachy Scene", "Pink Petal", "Pink Peony" and "Pink Sand". They all are on the lighter side, so these may work better for you :) So buying a few of these!

hmm emily i had the same problem. I just purchased the pink please from CVS couple days ago... and it's not the same pale pink as the one she showed..mine was more of a dark barbie pink. =( it still looks good if i wore more hot pinks...but i dont wear alot of hot pink *sigh*

Are you trying the colour on your skin/lips? Or are you just looking at it?

Because if you are applying it to your face or body, it wouldn't look the same on you as on someone else of different skin tone.

Also, monitors cause colours to look different, so it could just be that the way we see it on our comps is not accurate, right?

You can try, but you have to do it with a brush before it dries. if not you will have a really messy eye. It also depends the brand and consistency of the one you are using..go play with a few.

I don't think you can smudge liquid liner.. I think it dries to fast lol. And if you could catch it before it dried, smudging would probably not turn out well.. try to get a matte black eye shadow and and liner brush and try to smoke it out :]
