wtf, don't generalize... -.- What Unix world are you talking about anyway? Apple? That's a perversion of the Unix system and the folks at Cupertino are even more close-minded than over at Redmond. Linux isn't Unix just because it has a lot of similarities. Don't make claims concerning creation tools for the web based on the OS, which has nothing to do with it.

@zephyrzhang That's the irony. Web is actually making irrelevant the desktop. It doesn't matter if you're programming in windows, linux, macos, beos, solaris, etc.
By the way, I think Steve Ballmer is a good person selling inferior products, don't take it personal.
