@eyekandy7 There really isn't a 'standard' size hoop, it depends on your body type and etc. First make sure you have a real 'grown up' hoop, no walmart hoops or anything like that. Then, if its too thin, try a thicker tubing for more momentum. Also a better workout. :) Personally, I use thin tubing and a small 36" size because it's quicker and I can do more tricks. But beginning I used a 40" thicker tubing hoop, to learn basic hooping.

If you usually hoop to music you hardly hear it, but yeah they rattle a bit. Not a huge deal =) Great hoops!

I haven't put any tape on it - Though for looks I put a little glow in the dark tape on it. They just come without tape

hi - i bought one because they DID come out with one that is uv purple and pink! the day i asked, in fact. i rally like it! it is a little slippery doing some movies. they suggested getting flourescent yellow gaffer tape as it lets more light through even taping between LED's. I do find it a little noisy, but yes, if the music is loud enough, you don't hear it as much. also, as a friend suggested at my hoop jam, you can make the rattle work with the beat! i love it!

I can only imagine how much better it looks outside in the dark. I am debating whether or not to get one of these or a single color LED hoop in purple. Those look really cool too. I wish they had other colors in the one you had. I should ask! Nice job!

Aww! Thankyew! I really worked hard on that... isolations are hard when the hoop isn't weight balanced (since i have batteries in mine its slightly off but not enough to notice when hooping)

Try spinning the hoop on your waist and just bouncing from side to side instead of trying to make your body go in a circle :) Hips should push the hoop on either side. ^_^
