Dogs can live through those kind of things without physical therapy and doctor appiontments. they are a lot tougher than we are. I bet if a human went through what these dogs did they would have physical therapy every day for the rest of their life. So why did humans end up practically ruling the earth???

Look the fact are this, A pit is taken in with a history of of fighting it must be put down because it has a history of fighting and is not safe for children and other animals. Even if you have no other animal it is a danger to your neighbors pets. If your dog bite or kills some ones pet or child the shelter are held responsible for adopting out animal with a history of violence. The sad part is since shelter rely on donation they don't have the tools and time it takes to rehabilitate them

HSUS a terrorist organization? Where do you all get your information? I've visited MANY HSUS run shelters and ALL of them work towards the humane treatment and adoption of animals of all kinds. Also, Pit Bulls are NOT euthanized because they're pits. They're only euthanized if they had been trained to fight. Pit puppies or pits that have not been trained are adopted out by the HSUS or sent to other facilities. I should know. My co-worker has adopted 3 sweet pits. And she has 4 SAFE kids.

The humane society is against breed specific legislation so what are you saying? they also encourage people to adopt animals, so that would make their whole not wanting people to own pets thing obsolete don't you think? Do you realize that they humanely utinize these animals because they are so psychologically sick that they are a danger to themseleves? Many of these poor animals are not able to be rehabilitaled and put into a loving home. It is always in the best interest of the animal. You should never let an animal suffer for what a stupid human did. It's not the breed specifically they are targeting it what mental state they are in. All factors must be considered first.
