Hartford really doesn't need a new NHL team it has 4 teams to choose from The Rangers,Bruins,Islanders, and Devils. to my understanding Hartford is 2 hours from NYC and 2 from Boston which is why Hartford is considered the dividing line with the Sox and Yankees and when my friend went to college there he said Hartford was 50/50 Sox and Yankees. but anyway good luck on a new team

I think the league will be fine if they move teams like Atlanta, Anaheim and Florida to Winnipeg, Quebec City and Hartford.

Then you can have Hamilton and Saskatoon get teams.

I wouldn't move the Islanders though. Not just that they're my favourite team. But they're located in a bad spot of town with bad ticket prices. They have to compete with the Rangers too.

Don't forget, they have history.

The NHL really dropped the ball in the 90s moving franchises like the Whalers, Nords and Jets. Then giving places like Atlanta and Tampa expansions. Seriously hockey is a northern sport no southern teams should be in the NHL except the LA Kings because at least there is snow and ice in the mountains behind the city

The horn was actually a working air horn that was activated...it wasn't a recording so it's cool this has been captured. It's unique...no other horn sounds like this one. Unfortunately, Karmanos literally took it out of the rafters and on to Greensboro and finally to Raleigh. The horn you hear when the Canes score is the exact horn that was in the Civic Center. One quick listen of what's in the XL Center now, and you know it's not this horn.
