You have to remember that 12-13-14 is the change from child to young adult, and is often when some of the worst choices are made and worst acting out occurs. By my experience, once the kid gets through those years, they are okay... but it's during those years that they are their most vulnerable. I remember when I was 13. Off the top of my head I knew at least 3 "Evies", who all disappeared before highschool.
