Here is a prime reason that I tell everyone that Gospel musicians are the best. Willie Gaiter is also fun to watch. He really has mastered that Diversi in such a way as to rival the Hammond sound in my opinion. Makes me want a Diversi even though I already have a Hammond.

This style is something unique God gave us. It hurts to see it being pushed aside. One thing our people have been criticized for is taking interest in things that gain equity or value. We have equity in this music. The Jews have not let their traditional music die even though they do have newer music.

The organ is a Diversi. Diversi is an imitation of the classic Hammonds. They don't sound half bad and they're cheaper than the new Hammond/Suzuki stuff. What kind of speaker are you running from that Diversi?

Yup. I have seen and heard it played by great musicians during the Annual Gospel Music Workshop of America in Dallas, TX. The Korgs and new Hammond all sound great and the Diversi isn't behind. There's a nice "edge" to the Diversi sound. Elder Eddie Howard Jr. playes it on his educational DVD: "C.O.G.I.C. Style. Great sound.
