I was there the Monday after the hurricane and stayed for a week. Everything was fine but it's possible he decided to leave town early due to the weather.
Josh is located at the Douglass Pavilion this year. His painting go for between $40 and well over $400. He now paints of really cool easels. I bought a painting. Douglass Pavilion is located past the middle of the boardwalk. Hes AMAZING!
@middleschoolbeauty1O Thanks. I'm very surprised I've not seen him before. There is usually an artist at Douglas Pav doing pastel portraits. I have a crazy idea to have him paint a bass drum head for me...something very unique.
@XDrummerSteve like that guy said but he doesnt start until 8-830 pm. If you're walking down the boardwalk you cant miss the loud ass music coming from the pavilion and he's usually surrounded by a crowd. He's across from the Oxygen Tattoo and Piercing place.
I was at Wildwood the week of August 14th and didn't see him. I was bummed because usually I will stop and watch him for a while. He's really talented.
I live in wildwood, i would walk past this guy everynight on the way to pick up my girl from work. living here u tune the crap from tourists out. I wish i would have stopped to watch. maybe next summer.
I saw him last week. We bought two pieces, one of the poster boards and then the next day a canvas, he did it just for us as we had just gotten married on the beach that afternoon. Nice guy, and brilliantly talented.
I was there too. He is an amazing artist. I could had probably watched him for hours. I don't know how he learned how to do that but he is incredible at it.
well if it is finger painting then where are all of the hand prints?????if you go see this guy you will notice that he uses his hands to get the effect of a glare or to get water to shimmer. He is one hell of an artist.
do you see him use his finger to any of that i guess that the person that called it finger painting noes nothing about art, then again you could say well its just photoshop.... you will never get it like jackson pollok right. oh and its a eagles head with the american flag and a surreal city under it meaning of freadom of the twim towers
