They are all beautiful, seriously. But the italian one has something I don't know... special? =) It seems that Ariel feels the song more than in any other version. I think the lyrics of the song are more emphasized because the tone grows/rises smoothly and gently. It's not just another "karaoke version"... it's pure interpretation. ;)

My top 10: 10 - Russian; 9 - Bulgarian; 8 - Croatian; 7 - Japanese 89; 6 - English; 5 - Italian; 4 - French 89 (I love her voice, but she only is Ariel in the reprise...); 3 - Latin American Spanish (such a cute voice for Ariel!); 2 - Danish 89, along with all Sissel's versions (her voice is THE BEST!); 1 - French 99 (the french dubbing is the best I've ever seen, and Marie's voice fits the character really well... she's our princess!)

@jillianliqi Technically, both are Mandarin. Mandarin is from Taiwan and Putonghua (Mandarin) is from Mainland China. The difference is the lyrics and actors.

Italian 'cause is my childhood version, and Simona did a really beautiful job ( sweet and strong voice), LS 'cause spanish is one of my fav languages and her voice fits Ariel perfectly! Portuguese, beautiful voice! Croatian is Ariel! French 89 & German 99 are two beautiful version, sweet and lovely.... i prefer these than 1999's versions, 'cause are more real and romantic! :)

I liked Arabic, Castilian, Croatian, Danish 89, French 89/99 (my favorites, plus it's better than French Canadian and gives me the chills since I understand what she says), German 99, Italian, Japanese 89, Portuguese, Thai 99, and Turkish 89. ^_^
