i am having trouble in knitting my (first) scarf....i dont know how tight to pull my yarn when i "throw" it over my needle.when i pull it a little bit tight, i cant fit the needle through the loop when i get to the next row.if i let it to loose then i just end up with a hole in my scarf. Also somtimes i accidently miss a stitch causing the width to change in a very noticable way.how can i fix it without having to start all over?!Please Help!!!!

I have no clue on how to do the knot, and after that when I switch hands when I start the next row in between them my string is really long, WHY?? I have it down, but these flaws are really aggrivating to me!
Thank you for your great videos! I purchased books but still couldn't figure it out... after watching your video I'm well on my way to knitting my own scarf!!!
Okay question. So if i'm left handed, does the needle with the 8 base stitches still stay in that hand, or would it switch depending on your dominate hand?
i dont know, but i would keep it in the same hands as she shows, it would be easier to do instead of having to think about how it would be switched around. just my opinion, your decision.
I can't believe I just learned how to knit in 5 and a half minutes!!! Thanks SOOOO much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

I have a just a couple questions.
My yarn always gets REALLY tight around my knitting kneedle, making it literally impossible to continue my scarf.
How can I prevent this from happening?
If it happens, how can I remove it without starting over?
Is it something I, my kneedle, or the yarn is doing wrong?
Thanks for the videos!! :)

Hi,
Any kind of knot is ok and cut your string to 4". Then relax and watch the video again.
