MRirian is a harmless diversion for millions of mostly young japanese boys and pedophile men. The phenomenon is not greater than YouTube itself, nor Myspace even- both innovations that are at their very BEST- waste precious time. You people, ALL PEOPLE...need to get a life. I agree with everything you said, except not completely with "pretty on the inside (equals) pretty on the outside." We all know when someone is good looking, even before they say a word to show what they are like as people. Outside prettiness can't be missed. Inside prettiness has to be slowly displayed and discovered.

MRirian has become an unintended spiralling YouTube phenomenon. She is a force of gravity that attracts both hatred and love in a degree that baffles everyone, especially herself.

In the end, how people react to her is not even about her. She brings out the best and the worst in the YouTube audience, and makes us question what we ourselves are about.
