  • i lol at the switch blade ability

  • oh, kill bill fight, gogo.

  • In 1984 Tv series, musashi left shishido baiken without killing him,but according to yoshikawa eiji original novel, musashi met baiken second time, and he killed him this time.i know this diffrent, but when novels adopted to movies or Tv series,

sometimes they dont follow 100% from the novels. anyway,i like 1984 version,

because yakusho koji is good actor!

  • su.b.me4get.a.sub.back

  • Musashi won this battle using a throwing knife

  • MUST BE FIGHTING OVER A DAMN WOMAN.

  • Musashi swords are awesome- I got one from the HeavenlySwords site

  • i downloaded the 3 first movies of musashi miyamoto.

they are from 1954 and the quality is just great for this time.

  • i thought miyamoto had a 2 sword style

  • @allenco65 He mixed it up a lot for kicks lol.

  • im gonna scrape some cheese off this here video.

  • I found this guy who makes music under the name Musashi...

If you are into this you should check him out. Look up Blizzard [10-50] by him, I highly recommend it...just a suggestion.

Its like...ambient chill vibey stuff...i dunno. Its dope.

    Peace and Namaste friends :)

  • Musashi was a badass warrior. He kicked some 60 asses. they all died X-P

  • This is sad he would have never held his sword with both hands in this way. Book Of Five Rings explains this is not the true way, this is a joke to the man he was. Sad truely sad.

  • @SuRitachi, i may be mistaken but according to the novel, the bout with shishido baiken was early on in Musashi's sword fighting career around 21 or 22 years old. He didn't write the book of five rings until he was much older. Also, he didn't use two swords until his final fight with the Yoshiokas.

  • i would just take the risk of taking a hit from that little metal ball band rush in for a stab

  • @tatripp You'd be surprised how hard that ball could hit... plus the chain could trap your sword or strangle you. Most of the kusarigama techniques I've seen take advantage of a headlong rush by the swordsman.

  • that was intense!!

  • I thoguh Musashi dual wields katanas

  • he used a katana and a wakizashi, the shorter version of the katana

  • @Kurogasa55 i know exactly what a wakizashi is, it means defense knife

  • @sammynt He wouldn't dual wield swords until later in his swordsman career. He was also a fan of using the sword two-handed and battering his way through an enemy's defenses.

  • i love samuraui shit but even though i wish i was mushashi im mor more bullet tooth tony

  • I saw a documentary once about Samurais and thei're weapons, Some weird, creative and deadly objects indeed.. and they just got stranger and stranger and more and more geniously consealed the closer it came to the end of the Samurai era.

  • That fight would have been shorter in real life.

  • they twitch funny

  • Isn't that guy with a chain-scyte the same actor in "Champion of Death"?

A movie about Mas Oyama (Kyoksushin's Sosai)

  • First read about Musashi in a martial arts' book called From Lee to Li. Fascinated by him since, Love the fact he used to fight opponents armed only with a wooden sword, that sure of his ability. Trying to read that book of Five Rings but hard going.

  • Apparently Musashi went down to the farmers' market and one farmer did not like his hairstyle. So they had a duel but at the end the farmer did not have the opportunity to shave Musashi's head as he originally intended to. Guys, if you don't like someone't hairdo just leave them alone. Don't go to this extreme like Mr. Shishido Baiken. Also, leave your girlfriend or wives out of this.

  • y does Baiken have a jerry curl and press down hair on tha back of his neck lol.

  • he could have been hangin' out with the bruthas XD.

  • wow

  • OMG! This film just tarnished the historic Baiken-Myamoto duel! Shame shame oh shame!

  • ok.thaaaats.... lame >.>

  • Kusarigama is the ninja's ultimate weapon if used accurately.

  • whos talking about lame overated coward ninjas???

  • I think he was the perfect person as Musashi he got the strong eyes i could imagine he had look at 1:03

  • wait shouldnt there be 2 sickles?

  • man she got some big breasts! now i'm gonna watch japanese porn!

  • holy...this was a 80s film?

gotta hand it to the Japanese when it comes to technology xD that's crazy friggin clear for the 80s.

  • @1BrknHrtdRomeo Good quality celluloid. It really depends on if the makers of the film cared enough to print the masters on archival quality or not.

  • Judging by this short clip, the Samurai series with Toshiro Mifune is by far the best.

  • Indeed

  • Back in the days, they actually have real fight choreographers. Any samurai films past the early 80's with exception to some Zatoichi series, are junk by comparison.

Toshiro Mifune is still one of Japan's greatest actors. Touche.

  • um, did you firget all the Akira kurosawa films, seven samurai, yojimbo. There were a lot of amazing movies that were out before the 80's, Seven Samurai was from the 50's

  • @snakeii0 If you compare this duel in the Mifune version, you'll see that there wasn't much real sword fighting, just a lot of thrashing but no real weapon exchange. The same with the ending in the Mifune version where Musashi kills Kojiro - all of a sudden Kojiro just dropped dead. Even when repeating the scene in slo-mo, it seems like there was a missing second where Musashi is SUPPOSE to be kilingl Kojiro.

  • Qué mierda es esto? Musashi en ese reto usó los dos sables

  • The other guy got really owned lol

  • could someone please tell me the name of this movie, film or serie? pretty please

    its damn awsome

  • This is a TV drama series by NHK, titled "Miyamoto Musashi".There's DVD set released(I think only Japanese version).

I think Yakusho Kohji's Miyamoto Musashi is

incomparablly better than the Musashi by a Kabuki-actuor Ichikawa Shin'nosuke in 2003.

  • @kaborin0610 I absolutely agree with you. This version conveyed the martial arts spirit and stayed true to the novel by Eiji Yoshikawa on which it is based.

  • the 2003 one is better

  • aua, die ketten-waffe sieht ja voll schmerzlich aus!!!

Und warum hat der samurai, den anderen gekillt, ich dachte die wären Freunde ???

  • I'm really enjoying these clips.

The New year dramas were so much better then.

Thanks for taking the time to upload.
