To the person that said " are you dumb? ALL language originates from latin." you are wrong. Many languages derive from non latin origins. Only the languages that you know about are from latin. There are many, many languages in the world that have no latin influence. Examples would cover hundreds of languages in africa. Any language in asia. and the list goes on....
Shouldn't sling around insults simply proving your own ignorance.
no it didn't, it only change color, but with the shapes of it's surrounding, so it does look like it has texture too, but in fact, it's only color change
Yes it does. Octopuses can use their skin muscles to change the mantle texture in order to achieve better camouflage. They have not only the ability to change color, but also skin texture.
@chaserokz314 Both forms are correct. Octopus isn't a latin word. In fact, it comes from Greek and because of this, we have still a third plural for this word, octopodes, which appears only in british english.
I'm a diver and I've seen that camouflage behavior in octopi before. I've seen them change into several colors in less than a second. Amazing creatures.
snake are you there? we need you to destroy metal gear

They can change the texture of their skin. It's not plants growing on it, but its own skin puckering up to look like the plant. :)
