  • @jdrock0 I do not think that you have understood anything about PETA(btw how should you with no ability for empathy with living beings).

If you or your children would get hurt by traps, you would "be on the phone so god damn fast with the police it would make your head spin. But someone else's pain?!"....

  • Wow, tell us PETA. where SHOULD we shop? Im with them on animal cruelty and stuff but really?

You cant say EVERYTHING! is bad.

  • Anyone watch this right after hearing shaycarls rat infestation?

  • So peta Prefers people to live with mice and rats posibly leading to illness which could end up killing a person or people good one Peta Top stuff.

  • @evilcanofcorn but you could use a trap that kills them instantly though its not fair to let them die a slow painfull death

  • you dont know anything do you, the rest of the world shops at lowes to make pet cages and other things to kill animals

  • i dont want rats in my house, yes i use glue traps, but as soon as i hear the rat sqealling i kill it

im not gonna let it die there

  • They don't suffer for days if you check them regularly. Your logic fails (as always).

  • We use glue traps here, as much as I try to stop it, we've caught two mice, one was still alive, we poured vegetable oil on her and she ran away (with an injured leg) The other died.

I watched this video and threw all our glue traps away.

  • rodents carry life thretening diseases and even thought the glue traps are indiscriminate they are ment to ceach rodents that are already inside the home, ues rat trapes for out side rodent and you should avioude most bire like insedents. and as for the cat, well, personaly I think its sad, but the owner of the cat sould be at fault, not the glue compay.

  • I see what your trying to do PETA, but lowes is a hardware store, yes they sell animal traps, but so do most stores, family dollar and family tree sell those too, so does wal-mart.

  • cruel

  • i agree that this is cruel but lowes just carries the product so does wal mart that doesnt mean i shouldnt shop there

  • @theTNoutdoorsman98 And Home Depot, Ace Hardware and True Value. They don't want you to be able to fix your house, so rats can live in it, instead of you..lol

  • Lowes are not the only ones that sell glue traps. Why not attack Home Depot? Kmart? Walmart? Meijers? Target? They sell glue traps too. If you want to blame somebody, blame the people that don't set the traps properly. Educate people about how to set up traps where cats, dogs and birds can't get to them.Glue traps are made for a reason and that to kill mice and rats.

  • @MrPeterS75 I think you're missing the point of the message. It's because glue traps are inhumane, they shouldn't be used period. Mice and rats have just as much right to die quickly and humanely than any other animal.

  • @CLaujess In animals, it is virtually impossible to tell if their tears are the result of emotions or merely caused by eye irritation. Most scientists agree, however, that humans are the only animals who produce emotional tears.

    wisegeek.com/do-animals-cry. htm) source

  • i do not set mouse traps i do not believe in them if i ever did set a trap it would be a live trap so i could take it out in the country and let it keep on living rats make wonderful pets i have two unlike hamsters gerbals guinea pigs and other small pets domesticated rats do not bite they are a much better pet

  • IF YOU DON'T WANT ME TO SHOP AT LOWES THEN WHERE THE EFF DO YOU WANT ME TO SHOP? NOT PETSMART, WALMART, KMART?? WTF MAKE A STORE CALLED PETA FOR GODS SAKE

  • They want to eat also.they want to live. i cried each time when i saw mouse in trap, so after my husband was doing it secreatly. until it cached my kitten in. I was screaming and washing it out with acetone, i really thought my kitten will die... as soon as she start to wash herself she will get poisoned with accetone. i spend whole bottle of shampoo go get her washed out from acetone...This glue is so strong...my kitten was ok, She is growing up, u can see her in my channel.maine coon 3 colours

  • this is stupid what the hell? now i think that they are just going after things just for the hell of it

  • this made no sence! what the hell! how does lowes deserve not to be bought from. peta is just going after buisnesses just for the fucking hell of it

  • rats>human health? nope

  • its a good thing they sell traps they got diseases its either them or you let them infest your home if you see this just sit back in your house and act like this msg aint shit

  • Sooo... to protect these dirty rats from our stores... we let them live in our stores and dirty all our stuff and get us sick??

And people who will get pissed at me...

    be realistic,

do you think peta or any other organization are ever going to stop animal abuse?

  • so what is the best way to kill rats?????? if anyone can tell..... i don't want them to suffer but i don't want them in my house either is poison any better?? if anyone could tell me?

  • @otakubakamonX Snap traps are the most reliable, but even better is to get a cat. That's what we did.

  • I'm surprised PETA hasn't revolted against SEGA yet. For the last 19 years, an egg shaped mad scientist has been trying to kill a hedgehog.

  • @Kryanwan8 Good one i love that.

  • @ PShowerman- thats so nice of you. I would have done the same thing.

  • That's why we put the mouse traps INSIDE our houses... Retards.

  • just a few days ago i rescued a mouse from a glue trap at work. i cut him loose from all the glue and took him home. after about an hour of rubbing the excess glue off of the mouses' leg with rubbing alcohol he was able to walk and i let him go outside and he happily ran away =]

  • wow okay, yea glue traps are kind of cruel but PETA always turns everything into animal crueness yesh! you can buy glue traps ANYWHERE! does that mean that we stop buying things from places that sell a couple boxes of rat poisoning or have a shelf full of mouse traps?

  • I shop at home depot :D

  • FUCK LOWES!

EVERY TIME WE GO THERE, WE HIDE ALL THE GLUE TRAPS.

  • my mums ex had these glue traps, and there was a mouse on it, and it had nearly bitten one of its legs off. i rung my sister up crying down the phone whilst my tears fell on the mouse, even if its an animal doesnt meen it dont feel pain! it was horrible. and i may sound cruel, but i had too leave it, it propably died within the next hour though. :( some times some animals are better of dead than in this horrible world.

  • i don't care

  • @katosteen Your sick then aint you.

  • @mariahandchristina It's "you're" you stupid cunt.

  • @mariahandchristina Na he/she is realistic :)

  • AFTER WATCHING MOST OF THE PETA VIDEOS IM MOST DEFINENTLY BECOMING A VEGETARIAN! iVE THOUGHT ABOUT IT BEFORE AND I HARDLEY EVER EAT MEAT ANYWAYS! SO WE SHOULD JUST STOP NOW! ANiMAL CRuELTy IS 100% WRONG!:(

  • This shouldn't be an anti-Lowes video, it should be an anti-idiotic consumers video. You're supposed to check those adhesive sheets regularly, not just put them somewhere and forget about them.

    Get your shit straight, PETA.

  • my grandma bought these b4 to stop those mice in our house.... never knew this would happen

  • Torture for sale? How much is it?

    Like really this is crazy!

  • PETA REALLY

  • Won't be to Lowes again...

  • First off, Lowes is not the issue, Rodents carry disease and can be destructive. The issue is with the irresponsible consumer. Instructions on glue traps say to keep out of reach of other pets and children. You should check your trap every day and if you catch a rodent, you need to be responsibly and humane.Destroy it responsibly. I drop the trap in a bucket of water and it dies in seconds. Don’t let it sit on the glue trap to suffer until dead.

Don’t blame Lowes, educate the public.

  • @MrEvergreen18 uhh.... yea.... watching the poor little mouse die makes it better :P

Now i see what your trying to say, Put it out of its misery. but he still is suffering. rodents should die like we do. in peace. if you see a rodent in the house. put peanut butter in a bottle and the rodent should squezze through. then when you see the rodent in there. quickly put the cap on the bottle and and poke holes in it. find a large feild away from your house and set it free.

  • we use these all the time . when a mouse gets stuck , you just take it and throw it away . big deal

  • WOW PETA! Your really hating on ONE specific stores rat traps?! You know that hundreds of store chains nation wide sell these. Come on PETA we can all see how your just trying to make the public boycott Lowes until they cry uncle and give you what you want.

  • these traps are only cruel if the owner of said traps don't check them every day to put the animal out of its misery, or use baby or cooking oil to free them from the trap for release.

  • I've noticed for every peta video there is one person always saying "this makes me sick"

  • Id like to see one of these chest pounding liberal/PETA have a rat infestation in their own home. You know what they would do? They would be on the phone so god damn fast with the exterminator it would make your head spin. But someone else's home? OH THE HUMANITY!!!!!! Hypocritical assholes!!

  • @jdrock0 Seems like you missed the point of the video. And the point is, there are better ways to handle such infestations. Glue traps are just wrong because they torture the animal to death - something that is totally unnecessary when dealing with a pest problem. Just use snap traps and be done with it.

Fuck the people who think that torturing them is OK. Maybe they deserve having pestilence brought upon them.

  • What about spiders and snakes? They pretty much "torture" their victims to death with painful injections of venom. You got no idea what it's like to be bitten by a black mamba.

  • @darkhunter314 Consider how small a mouse is - the venom would practically kill it instantly. It's designed to be very potent so that the animal doesn't struggle, possibly injuring the snake in the process. Besides, you can't really compare what a snake does (for survival), to a human doing it.

  • @darkhunter314 what the fuck does that have to do with animal torture? animals feed on other animals because of the food chain we have no reason to be torturing animals this way.

  • @jdrock0 I'm a Peta person and instead of getting drunk every night, wasting my life playing video games or watching that dumb ass show Family Guy, I built a box that would catch 5 rats at a time using an eye hole screw, a piece of food, a hinge and child cabinet plastic locks. I caught many rats and it took no time to transport them all to a forest. I DIDN'T KILL ONE RAT. Sure I had to work a tiny bit but so f***ng what. People kill because they are lazy, uncreative and loveless -FireLightChurch

  • @jdrock0 What makes you think that that's what they'd do?

  • @jdrock0 Dude, I've had a mouse infestation in my house, and you know what we did? We bought LIVE CAPTURE TRAPS! And got them all out alive and unhurt with a minimum of fuss.

  • Rat poison is better.

  • PETA was the little cat ok ? any one capable of doing this to a animal is a evil monster who should be in hell

  • PETA keep up the work & ignore morons -- please rescue as many cats as possible

  • these poor animals - what happened to the cat and is she ok ? this is so bad i hate these evil people who do this -

  • Well, honestly I find stu.pid that you throw a nife to lowes because they just sell glue traps.

It is like I didn't bought clothes from a fashion brand because they have one leather jacket, it is stu.pid

  • So i guess these PETA idiots just want to live with rats in their houses.

  • @chummly138 You seem to miss the point.

You can get rid of rats all you want, just use something less torturous than a glue trap.

  • smart comment man

  • OK UM walmart, dollar stores other retailers sell these traps not just lowes wtf?

  • dont be so emo about it.

  • Mice and rats carry diseases..glue traps stop them from spreading it to both humans and other animals, sometimes a different animal may get trapped in it too, but wouldnt it be better that a few die from glue instead of hundreds of animals dying from spraying poison?

  • Humans also carry disease. Dogs and cats have been known the carry Weil's disease too.

But that's not the point. Neither is the necessity to eliminate pests.

But why do it in the most torturous way? Why not use a snap trap? You don't *need* to torture an animal to kill it, but apparently people think this is acceptable... and that's what I am against. Not the killing part, but the torture part.

  • Chocabloc84, they die either way. A "snap trap" could have blood squirt out...and that would be just gross, AND it could cause disease. A box trap or whatever it is can't do it because it will just come back. Not many people are that stupid to have their pets get caught in it. The world isn't flowers and rainbows and peace, get over it. Let me guess, you'll say I know that and you will repeat what you said. Humans torture eachother all the time, get over it.

  • Just because humans do bad things to each other doesn't make it right, and doesn't justify such things anyway.

  • @OriginalRave You can justify an inhuman death to an animal because humans also torture humans? I'm not even against glue traps and I even see that as a failure of an argument.

  • @bluegreen7812 The issue isn't that they die in the glue traps, it's that they get on the glue trap and then starve to death. That's anywhere up to a week stuck to that trap. The fact is though, that if a mouse or rat gets stuck on that trap, it doesn't prevent the spread of disease. It can stay right there, and possibly come in contact with another animal (say your cat), and give it a disease.

  • Whether you hate mice, and rats isn't the point. The point is not to torture any living creatures....and the glue traps do just that.

  • I HATE MICE AND RATS!!!

  • @ latinluigi: no one cares what you like or dislike. We don't even know you. It's irrelevant, idiotic and you're clearly missing the point. But you're probably 10 years old so I'll go easy on you

on the vid: It's a cruel and easily replacable method. It should be forbidden

  • @latinluigi man , if mice and rats could talk they'd be saying the same thing to YOU.

  • What you said's wrong Maybe you don't know that there is no cure for AIDS thanks to experimenting on other species.Chimps (our next of kin) have been suffering a horrific life and later killed because of this vivisectotrs appearance of legitimacy using and torturing (and killing) other species, when every human who is dying of AIDS would do whatever tests are necessary to find a cure to this terrible disease. There are several websites where the experts explain the useless of animal experiments.

  • PETA is against AIDS reaserch because it involves rats. So a couple of rats live are worth more them millions of human lives? The animal rights movement's main goal is not, and never has been, to save or help animals. This is only done to give animal rights the appearance of legitimacy. Its mission is to market its philosophy and lifestyle to the public. A lifestyle which is predicated on the belief that the life of a rat deserves the same moral consideration as the life of a child.

  • You can not apply results done on animals to humans and that is why PETA is against medical animal testing.

  • This video is about glue traps.

Dragging it off topic isn't going to do anything here. I actually am against the use of glue traps, they are inhumane and unnecessary.

  • And why shouldnt a life of a rat have the same moral consideration as the life of a child? We are animals, but we let power get to us. Now when we see other life forms we just disrespect them. Also, I am in an animal rights movement, and my/our goal is to educate humans about animal abuse. You may not be a fan of animal rights movements, but honestly, we dont care. Were not doing what we do for you to judge us, or give us the appearance of leitimacy. We do what we do for animals life.

  • And why shouldnt a life of a rat have the same moral consideration as the life of a child? I am apart of an animal movement, and i have to say that what you have stated is false. Our goal is to educate the public about animal abuse, and try to change their veiws. We try to undo the mess that humans have started. You may not like animal rights movements, but honestly we dont care.

Our goal is to educate the public about animal abuse, and try to change their veiws. We try to undo the mess that humans have started.

  • Humans are animals. We have merely evolved with a different brain than other species. All of us, animals and humans feel pain and suffer. We all want to live. Mice and human alike.

We are not more or less valuable. We, humans, are just more "aware"...and we therefore bear the responsibility to hold forth empathy and display mercy to those smaller and weaker than us.

Otherwise we are brutes and bullies.

  • It's a terrible thing. I had to see it with my own eyes to believe it. My mother used to buy these things when we had mice at home, years ago. One day i was going to school when i saw one tiny little gray mouse there. You might not believe it but THERE WERE TEARS ROLLING DOWN IT'S CHEEK.

I couldn't stand it so i took baby oil and the trap with me, went directly to the bathroom and released it. That little mouse was then free. Don't we all deserve to live and let live?

  • @CLaujess I did the same thing once...I weashed it off with some dawn soap.

  • @CLaujess You are amazing, nothing should suffer

  • @CLaujess that's beautiful.

  • @CLaujess *tear* Yes...

  • @CLaujess they don't cry tears, only red tears

  • I have seen it and it's horrible. My mom used to buy these awful traps when we had some mice at home and one day i was going to school when i saw that there was one there. A tiny little gray mouse. You might not believe it, but i saw TEARS rolling down it's little cheek. I couldn't avoid to cry myself and i didn't think it over. I took that thing to school, found some baby oil and went directly to the bathroom. I had to literally bathe the little mouse in baby oil to release it from the trap.

  • yea i'm sorry but mice destroy homes and food. yuck

  • Way to be Peta! <3

Animals may not be able to communicate with us, but they have feelings exactly as we do! If this was going on to humans it would be considered torture! What makes these poor creatures any different than we are?

  • I need to go get some putty for my walls... I know where I wont be going.

off to home depot or home hardware.

  • Poor mice, one day they will fight back and then they'll be sorry! >:I

  • dammit, Lowes - rot in the bowels of bloody hell.

  • when i seen that kitten & the birds it made me reallly sad.

  • But when it's mice suffering it's OK huh? :/

    They should be banned.

  • Long Live PETA

  • I love mice! there so cute and little poor mice PETA ROCKS

  • Something about seeing those birds caught made me feel really sad.

  • So, PETA goes after the Company that sells them yet excludes the companies that manufacture the traps? How is that a good fight for their cause?

  • If people don't shop at the places that sell glue traps, they won't be sold, if they arn't sold then the manufactures are out of business.

  • High TomTitty .... the ones who manufacture do so only for the orders placed, its a simple system.

Its also the reason police will go after the ones selling the drugs,,,, there are many things this shop can sell and still make profit .... things that are very sick and un American or un human are NOT of good taste ..... and going after them is the only thing WE can do as good moral people.

The traps are made in obscure Chinese factories ... you cant go after them :(

  • Agreed, but Lowe's buys the traps, thus supporting the company.

  • i used to have a rat, her name was lucy. she was one of the most caring, loveing, sweet, and beautiful animals i ever met. lows is horible. im gonna go to lowes and hide all the glue traps..or buy them and get the employs stuck to them..haha! how dos it ffel now!!! yah, what they do is horible! FUCK U LOWS!

  • I <3 Peta, god bless those poor animals

    Glue Traps are evil.

  • ugh i hate lowes

  • Yeah I support some of PETA's causes but they have the nerve to take on the military. Protecting this country and soldiers dieing and they criticize them. Bull shit.

  • Protecting this country for the wrong cause. Do you even know why there is a war? I do respect our soldiers and it's not their fault they're there, nor is it Obama's.

  • people are so stupid and heartless, y dont they glue them selves and starve to death! then they will feel da pain, these innocent animals suffer!!!!

  • Yeah ive seen my uncle check some traps. some of them are still alive. most try to chew their own arms off and still try to struggle. kinda sad cause when i saw these, i was only like 7 and didnt know what to think

  • I'm sorry but my house is my house and I work really hard for everything in it and I'm not willing to let mice chew up my stuff and shit and piss everywhere . I will not share my house with these nasty things and the humane traps don't work . I used to use them but one time I put a piece of ribbon on a mouse and drove it 3 mile down the road and he was back the next day . I'm not willing to sacrifice my stuff and the health of my familt for mice .

  • You don't have to torture them to death to get rid of them, that's the point.

Being a little more kinder isn't sacrificing anything. Stop being so fucking lazy and inconsiderate.

  • People are sick.

  • yeah..all supermarkets sell glue trap i guess..my mom used to use it for rats and i told her to stop, its torturing them..poor little thing.. :( so now rats in my home run free..hahaha they're harmless anyway..i give them bread or leftover sometimes.. :P

  • I care.

    RatLove

    <":3)~~~

  • i never shop at lowes LOVE YOU PETA

  • Many stores carry those unfortunately.

If you ever use it, vegetable oil helps release them off just a little bit helps them get off the trap. I saw in on television, but i'm not sure if it is effective as I never used these.

  • The only reason why people eat meat is because the taste.... such selfish reasons they use...

  • I know!

Every time someone says "I love meat!"

I always tell them"That so freaking selfish of you"

  • Everyone in this world disgusts me right now across from me my fuckin dad is eating a tamale while my mom and dad are bragging about how good the meat tastes in it.... most things people say to get around it is either "god made animals for us to eat" or "humans were designed to eat meat"... when there is obviously better alternatives!

  • :'( i love and hate watching these PETA videos. i LOVE PETA and i LOVE what they do but the thing i dont love is being depressed after watching these videos. but its being depressed for a kinda good thing and it really makes me want to make a difference so thank u PETA for everything u guys do i really truly love u guys :) i wont shop there anymore :) thank u again

  • I <3

    peta

  • I'm scared of rats, but I hate seeing them hurt =[

  • these people make me sick

  • i know right i just want to slap the man that was like i want to kill rats

  • @11freegirl11 peta or lowes?

  • PETA FTW

  • what does ftw mean?

  • oh my god. how terrible. i will not shop at lowe's anymore. i love birds. how ironic. they sell bird seed yet they kill the wildlife around them. FAIL!

  • sigh...

  • How can people be so cruel?

    Please don't support cruel products.

  • That is so sad.

  • They still sell glue traps?! Argh! >:(

  • so sad :( hated seeing the little kitty :(

  • o my god... traps are very cruel....
