it's ridiculous how much the dub changed this scene. they didn't even show matt attempting to hitchhike. they changed it so it seemed like he was too embarrassed to try, and gave up immediately. and the fact they made the guy sora's cousin was just stupid and completely unnecessary.

You're right, it wasn't really *cut.* It was edited. Sora and Mimi's signs, and the woman who drives up for Yamato were cut, though. Other than that--Matt's scene was moved to before Joe and Izzy's, and the stranger/Sora's cousin was seen before he actually drives up, so that Sora could 'spot' him.

PS: 'I remember this being in the dub. Whaddaya people mean, "it was cut out?"' is a bit more correct.
