  • nice check out my doba on cherry poppers now . then flowsmaster soon

  • I had one in montreal (1988) paid 600$ MINT one owner old lady.

It was a 76 with 400/4bbl (non-lean burn) it ran easy 130 mph.

  • That car is much too good for a Frenchman

  • Nice Car:-) i have a 1976 Cordoba 400 V8.

  • please show the car not only the engine.

  • nice car do you still have it??

  • i wish i had the 400 i only gave the 360 in mine but i still love the car

  • Fuckin swingin!

  • good car, the one I had was nearly bulletproof with the 400 b block

  • Not a bad-looking car at all!

  • Nothing says punk ass punk like a flipped a/c lid and a set of glass pack mufflers!

  • very nice, i am now busy to restaurate my 75 doba...

  • Better than one of those "sudden acceleration/no brakes" cars!

  • what kinda gas mileage does one of these get, thinkin bout gettin one

  • I have a 78 with a 360 engine, a 52K mile original with only one owner before me. I did an 8000 mile tour all over the western states many years ago and it got 26mpg on the highway if you kept it around 60mph. Fantastic cars, completely unlike the plastic computer crap of today.

  • probably about 10 HWY, 4 in town.

  • @jfrey1 Not quite that bad, assuming it is original equipment: mine does 16/10 pretty easily. I have a Magnum with a 360/4V that will cruise at over 20 mpg. All depends how ya drive.

  • @ShoobyBugger Yeah i've heard a few people say that their 400 w/ 2bbl gets around 20 mpg on the highway. The funny thing is, the 400 has the biggest bore of any production mopar engine, ever, but it also can be made to get really good mileage.

  • *punches desk, puckers face* OOoooo YEAAH!! That's gotta GOOD sound!! F*&@in' American Steel!!

  • That car's so big it has an engine room!

  • THEY CALLED THESE THE SMALL CHRYSLER

  • I almost bought a 77 Plymouth Sport Fury, on the same platform. Cold A/C, working 8-track [!], and 47000 miles! It had a nice set of headers, and sounded a lot like this. Unfortunately I got fired 2 weeks after I first saw it and by the time I could afford it again it was long gone...

  • the facia is stolen from a rolls royce

  • nice ride.I have a 77 dodge charger that looks the same but different tail lights.i baby that car.

  • Best looking Chrysler from that era by far. It took it's styling cues straight from the more popular Monte Carlo.

  • The monte carlo looked good in 75 wht the two round headlights. But it looked stupid with the dual square ones. Then the cordoba had the advantage.

  • i liked the tin sounding trunk lids

  • Nice color combo. Makes it very classy.

  • I owned a late 76 (1977 grill). It to had the 400, 727 torqueflite. It ran like a raped ape and looked great. My ex-bag ran it into a truck after our divorce, what a waste of machinery.....

  • Nice yes, but does it have the "Rich Corinthian leather"? :-)

  • which commercial does Ricardo say that in? From what I understand that was in a saturday night live parody. In the commercial everybody links to he says "Soft corinthian leather"

  • I think in the Saturday Night Live "commercial" he said it had "doors made of fine Corinthian cardboard."

That's how I remember it. It must be on video somewhere.

  • I had a 76 dodge charger se that was a twin to this car. It was my first car in 1986 when i was 16. Damn I miss it.

  • I've had too many to count. A 77 with a 440 (swapped), a 78 with T-tops and a 400-4, and a high winding 318 in a 76, and 3 or 4 76's with the 360-2.

My new project is a 76 with 400-4 and blue/blue almost like this one here. The computer has been taken out and changed to electronic ign. And has glasspacks. I've got a 286 cam to put in it and a Street Dominator intake and looking for headers for it. Looking to put 3.55:1 gears and a locker in it for some fun.

  • ...even more than 30 years later Montalban's advertiser a like new Cordoba is class expression and "food" for my mind.

    Delightful Car.

  • nice as shit dude!! i had an 80 myself until about 3 months ago when the wiring went up and i was FORCED to sell it. i had her for 3 years, and you better fuckin belive i cried when i saw her go! i loved that car! i only had the slant six in mine though

  • My dad had a '76.. I always thought it would be a future classic.. and it is! I'm glad to see people still dig the 'doba..

This is one car I'd like to have again :)

  • Beautiful car! Boy, that engine sound brings back some memories - in the early '90s I owned several Mopars of similar vintage myself ('76 Charger SE, '76 Charger Sport, '77 Cordoba, '79 Cordoba). Had a lot of fun with them - they're great cars. Someday I'll get another!

  • nice doba man!! makes me even more excited to have my 77 on the road soon

  • i had a 77 in the late 90s small block the guy i bought it from set up the suspension so it looked pretty cool whirh the front end lowered and cool wheels but it was a 360 2bbl but it had dual exhaust and was still faster than the new four bangers

  • Belle voiture!J'en ai une avec le 360 mais modifier pas mal!Videos a venir,la neige doit fondre avant de faire mais essais sur route.

  • I want it!

  • thats sweet dude i got a 76 myself but with the 360 2bbl
