I can see my self, sitting in a nice little apartment in uptown New York. Dead ass cold rain outside. I'm drinking warm tea. Rain is hitting the pavement twenty stories below. Each floor below me gets to listen to my magical playlist of trophy music as I think about the things I've done and will do..... Feels kinda weird and...good to share this with all that read it. burialish as fuck, but i guess it's just the genre. They called this kind of stuff (and Burial too) Uk garage, because the beat is like a mix of dubstep and drum'n'bass with huge basses. Just to say.

@beahuty just to let you know the UK garage scene is nearly twenty years old (yes I'm an old man ;) Dubstep rolled out from garage, brakebeat and techstep(drum'n'bass). Music evolves and in my opinion just gets better :) love this track *****

@99phily yes you're right, and i already knew that UK garage was older then dubstep (though i didn't know it was nearly 20 years) but i'm not even english-speaking so my statements sounds often totally wrong :) All i wanted to say is that the beat in this song reminds me of UK garage tracks (the few i know..) rather than today's dubstep, and that UK garage's beat sounds (to me) like a variance of drum'n'bass. Maybe i'm still wrong xD but i agree with you and just love the evolution.

@dudejohnny Yeah, I know, maybe rather than giving it a genre of it's own just refer to it as a style of dubstep, like chilled dubstep or dark dubstep - although if you think about it chillstep and darkstep are both commonly used and are pretty much abbreviated versions of those. Not really genres then, named styles, similar to the styles of any other kind of music - eg; american guitar & spanish guitar styles.
