• After viewing some of the Arabian dancing horses, or should I say, train wrecks, this video was quite refreshing to watch. This horse clearly loves his work. And what endurance!

  • OH LOVE IT :D

  • wow what a show that was. cuttie too.

  • Woohoo, you go, Flash!!

  • I used to love these Jinny and Shantih pony books, way overwritten but Shantih was this chestnut Arab fire horse with four high whites and a blaze...he reminds me of that fairytale horse from my imagination! He is a magnificent animal, this is more beautiful than all the fancy polished stallion services advertisment videos. What a horse!

  • Soo beautiful, I love Arabs :) It's even more amazing that the trainer's making him do this from the ground with no leg pressure :D

  • damn.

  • He is the most amazing horse I have ever saw in my life.My daughter Ashbash think 'how can horses dance like that mamma?' I told her 'It's Just the way it was Trained.' But this one me and her gives a Thumbs up!!!:3

  • wauw

  • Gorgeous! They should've shown him undersaddle (If they did then haha my mistake)

  • @RWYHunterJumperDPSG He was shown in Arabian Sport Horse Dressage and is several times National Champion, thanks to all of the training that Equidancer put on him.

  • @RWYHunterJumperDPSG He was shown all the way to Grand Prix by Hilda Gurney. He just turned 32 the other day, and is still flirting with all the ladies. :)

  • Aww he is so cute! I have one of his babys ,April moonsong and we show her at arabian horse shows. We always wonders why she danced in her stall!

  • What a stunner. The trainer here must just be magnificent.

  • Like.....Amazing! 0_0

  • he is so gorgeous....i'm such a sucker for an arab with a flaxen mane and tail

  • What a pretty horse..

  • Diane, you are sheer genius..cannot wait to see my Duke of Earl up in lights. C

  • Hehehe I get to see him everyday at the barn and he's STILL a firecracker.

  • How is the old guy, I think of him and remember what a great show horse he was. I hope he's retired and happy.

  • He's 30 going on 31!! And yes he's happily retired next to his buddies and he basically lives a very relaxed life. He could use more turnout time but he chills out all day in his stall anyway!

  • So glad he is living a good long life, he was a fine performer.

  • a very skillful horseman, beautiful horse

  • so beautiful!!!!!

  • is it ok if i use some of these gorgeous clips? you will get credit

  • Sure go ahead.

  • u r great)))amazing video)))

  • Great video. I'm partial to arabs, having owned a proud-cut gelding. But they sure can be a handfull. What intelligence and spirit!

  • love it

  • Wow, one of the best out there! Incredible!

  • wow. i love when arabians dance like that. it is amazing. i wish i could get my horse to do that.

  • i love this show.

  • Much talent. Impressive. The World of Dancing Horses has done it again.

  • And your qualifications for such comments are???

  • GORGEOUS horse! I had chill watching him!!

  • very impressive. what a show!

  • he is so cute, in spanic walk, he always makes 3 steps before lifting another foot^^ that is so sweet^^ but collected canter-piaffe- collected canter transitions are pretty difficult... i LOVE his passage^^

  • Perfecto comminacation between the horse and the trainner! :) Makes a person smile:)

  • there's on hell of a horse!

  • how do you teach a horse to trot piaffe and do passage etc.. in long reins???

  • Thats what I wanna know! It must be hard!!

  • that's pretty impressive lol =].

  • thats better than the horses now a days how cute.

  • hes so obedient... for an arabian and a stallion at that, they can be so high spiritied. must have had excellent training.

  • keep in mind that as a three-year-old she's just a baby. I usually make my arab walk in circles when she bucks and then ask her for the gait again. but with her, if I'm at all harsh with her she gets stressed out and then nothing gets done.

  • i make my mare do circles alot and i go into a stubble field to train her and there are grid marks where the tractors have been so i do serpintines and things up and down the grooves to make it interesting for her. but wen i first got her she wasnt even supposed to b the one i was supposed to get but i ended up keeping her and im glad i did.

  • all i can say is WOW!!!!! how amazing!!!

  • woah i would have loved to see that!!

  • nothing it can in fron of a spanish horse

  • incredible how amazin i want this horse!!! its soo cute at 1.47 and it must b reli well trained to rear on command, its like a dog!! "paw, bow, beg, etc." how can he get his horse to do tht??!!!so beautiful! imagine it was bein riddien it would be world shampion for dressage thtrs for sure!!

  • how?

lots and lots of cookies :P

  • how do u meen how? how is it so cute at 1.47 do u meen? cause its pawing at the ground wen asked 2 its sweet ^^ and i wonder if horses do like cookies? maybe thts ware all my snacks hav gone! haha no thye havnt gone anywhere its just a joke =D

  • I meant it as a reply to your question of "how can he get his horse to do tht??!!!"

my answer was "with lots and lots of horse cookies"

the cookies I use when working with my horse look a little like breakfast cerial...

in my opinion you don't "train" a horse you bribe it to do what you want it too...

  • oh rite, i suppose u do bribe them sort of but wen ur ridin a horse and ur train it 2 canter u dont bribe it to do tht, there r different ways to train a horse i like my method ^^, u give and take. if a horse is bad to take away its freedom of hed. if good then i give it its hed and let it hav a little fun. give and take. but everyone has different methods my method works for me best it mite not work for other people

  • Absoluty stunning horse.. I'd love to see him bloodlines.. My Arab mare looks almost identicle!

  • this is absolutely amazing!!!

  • Look at him go! He's like "Yeah! I gunna win this thing!!!"

  • i give this horse a A+!!!!!he has obvesly been trained corectly!

  • My comment was to Aristolvr (oops, forgot to say that) ...

Maginificant video!! Very talented horse and handler...

  • wow..its my 1st time to see like this...

  • Wow, that's a real life Barbie-horse! He is beautiful, love the colour and movements! :D I want to teach my arab stuff like this :D

  • This is spectacular! Notice how the handler only uses the whip properly, as a third hand, never as a weapon. For those farther below who think arabs are hotheaded or flat nuts.......Wrong! They are the most intelligent horses GOD ever created, spirited and strong, proud yes....but If one understands thier language (respect).....they will do Anything if asked properly and, they do enjoy performing.... They know thier awesome beauty :)

  • I totally agree. You just described my Arab perfectly. :]

  • Cal Darado has two sons in our barn. One of them was the Palomino that used to dance with Cal "Go for the Gold" and spike is going to Nationals this year.

  • haha "friends don't let friends ride quarter horses"

You know there is a reason quarter horses are called peanut rollers... A lope takes more muscle tone and power to execute yes.... But an Arabian holds it's head high because it isn't embarrassed that it isn't allowed to run ;)

  • I love this womans horses and the way they express themselves in their performances.

  • Quarter horses and not dull. As I assume you have never been around them before. I agree some arabians a hot-headed and some arent. It is in the personality of the horse.

  • Arabians are not hot-headed! They are brilliant and spirited, not dull like Quarter Horses. And I think Arabians are the ideal horse to have because they can do everything! Learn before you judge.

  • So you're complaining that someone else is 'judging' the Arabian breed unfairly - but then you openly 'judge' all QH's to be dull in the same sentence?

Can you say, hypocrite??!! I think you should mind your own judgements and practice what you preach.

Each breed to their own. They all have their own unique qualities.

  • what? what did i say? sorry?

  • god,

these horses are just BEAUTIFUL, but i would never get one because they are known to be hot-headed. [yes i know some are not, but most of the ones i know, and have seen are basically nuts]

  • You show your ignorance. They are smart and hot and if you are qualified you can handle and figure them out. Hot headed and nuts are stupid terms just shows your lack of knowledge. Ought not to voice opinion until you are further educated.

  • i think this horse has a higher iq than most humans... holy ****

  • and this is why my first horse will eather be half arabian or full arabian! They rule!

  • Gorgeous <3.

I was never into Arab's, but he's an exception!

  • okay so i generally dont like arabs, but this is deffinatly an exception! man is he amazing!!! and his neck is to die for!!!

  • if you love the neck how can you not love arabs??? most of them do this with their necks naturally all the time lol

  • i dont love what he does with his neck, i love how he has a thick almost warmbloodish neck, most likely because he is a stallion

  • Most arabs have necks like that... Is is part of there ideal conformation :)

  • you said it jacko :)

  • Man I love arabs! I can't wait until my beautiful girl gives birth to her foal in June!!! WOO!

  • WOW hes really is enjoying himself there! never knew you could do dressage on the floor if thats what you want to call it.!!!!! beautiful horse as well, !!!

  • WOW ... now that is TALENT!!! Love this Stallion! WOO HOO

  • Aw, this is my very own horse's Grandfather. I'm so glad my boy got his movement. <333

  • Love "my" Arabian Horses, Love Arabian Horses! The training that went into this horse is unimaginable, however, they are so darn smart and willing if trained properly. Spring is almost here. Can't wait, have a gelding that is so gifted, really getting "THE bug".

    trio

  • Gorgeous Horse Performer! that performance seemed so effortless. Wow, I wish I could do that with my gelding! but he's 20, and I am just learning to ride western right now.

  • hehe.. impressing! :)

  • His neck is huge!

    Gorgeous Arab.

I have a 21-year-old Arab gelding. He's an -ex Dressage school master. I even got him to piaffe with me before he was retired into a school pony/trail pony.

  • Aww. It looks cute when it bows.

  • Yes, I Love this incrediable, amazing just beautiful! Would love too see more of this Stallion and owner, trainner? Thank-you!

  • Cal-Dorado is now retired. He was a beautifully delightful stallion and a real talent.

  • I wish to see more Arabians in dressage, they are incredibly smart! Beautiful horse, do you know his name?

  • wow.

    just wow.

his canter!!! i am in love with him lol

  • noble horse great show

  • wo...

  • amazing.. and gordž..

  • beautiful horse..great performance!

  • Fantastic!! What great fella! Gotta love a smart little arab.

  • Absolutly breath taking!! how long did it take to teach him all of this??

  • He's always been one of my favorites. :) He's such a cutie.

  • stalkier** Lol wow really lame typos. And uhm, he's a lovely stallion :) He must be a dream to ride too! <333

  • Hehe :) He's absolutely gorgeous! And those moves are like breath-taking :O ! I'm guessing he has some crabbet in him since he's a little stalker than most Arabians o.o Nonetheless utterly beautiful :)

  • Original Superman theme is first song. Hard to hear because of the video quality.

  • Of course it was.. I think only old folk like me caught that, lol.

This is not a new vid, I don't think.

The quality of it makes me think not.

About when was this filmed, do you know?

  • Let's see this would be the late 90's. Orginal video is good but I haven't mastered the compressed quality required for web so I do good sometimes, others not so much.

  • I want him!!!!!!

  • love the horse<3

  • OMG! Amazing..! Love this horse..!

  • he's BEAUTIFUL!!! and SMART!!!♥ that horse!!

  • ♥ beautiful!!

  • Beautiful, talented Arabian horse.....I own his daughter and she even more beautiful!

  • CUTE ♥♥!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • that is just amazing!

  • His half pass is a bit weak.

  • Give me a break, he's a 14:2 hand Arab.

  • That is probably one of the most gorgeous horses I have ever seen he is very talented as well, and the moves are natural like when he was kicking out his feet foals do that when they want milk I have seen pictures of a foal doing that to his mother because she was lieing down :D

  • truley amazing horse. kudos to the trainer

  • if horses werent ment to move like that....then they couldnt do it....

  • amazing horse!

  • you can not teach a horse new tricks, all those movements are natural to a horse, watch them play.... gosh people.

  • What an amazing horse but ther is no need to stick up for them saying its un natural and not necessary, surely if the horses didn't like it they would object and misbehave or even just refuse to do these things. Dressage is a sport that is done all over the world, if its not necessary then whats the point of all these cometitions?

    lv steph .x.

  • Be nice to the foundation of most((or all??)) horses!! jkjk I LOVE arabians I wish my mare would hold her tail there but she only does it when shes in hyper... or in heat....lol

  • i dnt agree with this horses werent bred for this i think it is un natural and not neccesary!!

    but stunnin horse!

  • What were they bred for??? Pulling plows? Pulling heavy carts? War? What would you rather see them do? If he didn't want to do it he wouldn't. That person is close to his back legs.

  • they were actually used in war by the arabians, and they pulled greek carriages and are normally used across deserts as an edurance horse. So they have alot of uses =]

  • Arabs can be used in most sports and as hobbie horses. They rearly reach the high classes of dressage (all thoug it do happends!) and show jumping, but they are fun horses!! And they are really smart, and often easy to train.

  • very nice, unfortuneatly I think bigger breeds I don't like arabs :( but this one looks spectacular, even if they do hold their tail up ridicously high lol

  • I dont know how many arabs you know, but my 4 don't hold their tails up that high

  • Arabians have a igh tail carriage because they have 16 dorsal vertabrease instead of 18 like all other horse breeds, so their tail is attached much higher on the croup. and apparently they can't bring it down whe they run so wehter they hold it higher or not is up to them XD

  • Arabs also hold their tail up to let the wind cool them while they run. You know, the desert can get kind of hot!

  • WAY COOL!

  • Nice video. Dressage moves are indeed entirely natural, even things like kneeling have been seen in the wild (young horses biting at each other's legs when playing, for example) or the spanish walk (though in separate steps).

  • Fantastic video-thanks for sharing. What a gorgeous arab (arent they all!). He's more than welcome to retire in my garden-he would make wonderful eye candy!

  • WHOA!!!:D

  • blah..too unatural looking at the start but the horse is really cute

  • What you are seeing is called a passage, the most natural free movement of a horse. Of course this is compacted and performed on cue a very, very difficult movement to train especially on a small Arabian. He is very talented individual. He is a cutie isn't he. He is now 24 years old and lives quiet and peacefully

  • Every movement in dressage is a natural movement that horses will do not only in captivity, but in the wild. Though they do need to be trained to do it on command, this is a well known fact, something only a novice would be unaware of.

  • Ha! That horse KNOWS he's beautiful!

  • wow that is well cool lol!!!

  • beautiful. just so graceful!

  • adorableee

  • funny... but... not natural...

  • Lovely, charismatic and charming horse. Impressive trainer!

  • This is my all time first horse love :) He's even more fantastic in person, the video is great, but doesn't do him justice! He truly captivates!!

  • *drools* he beautiful! i ADORE his movment. and just the fact that he is doing all the dressag e movemts withought any one on his back is amazing

  • This is old style in-hand training. Lovely!
