Yes, I'm shortening the fridge's expected life - but calling that "increased wear" is specious. Similarly, neutral drops cause levels of stress on parts like splines & u joints in ways that wear never will. So, I think there's technically a valid point ironically concealed in that grammatical train wreck. :)

I had a buddy who did this daily on his Hyundai and after about a month of that stupidity, reverse wouldn't work and it couldn't find the next gear when trying to shift.
