  • brother i would also recommend a dictionary. a collegiate level dictionary published before 1970. you can actually find them in bookstores that deal in old books. the reason i say this is that in most "modern", post 1970, word meanings have been changed or altered and some even dropped fom the language.

  • i was typing this message because i really think you should this book. message me about weather you'll buy it and review it on youtube? i really think you'll enjoy this book it's very deep and i truely believe that this man is a follower of chirst and loves him. please check it out, and reply to me if you'll do it on you tube? i think people really need to read it.

  • this made me smile my bro , i agree 100% God bless you too.

  • AMEN!

  • I was thrilled when your list of dependable books and authors began appearing! God bless you.

  • Great video, brother.

  • Amen brother ! Had me going there for a moment.

  • I own and have read many, many books over the years. There's only 66 of them that I cannot live without! God bless.

  • Excellent !

  • Amen brother. May I add that these books do not need bias commentary by sinful man, but are sufficient in and of themselves with the guidance of the Holy Spirit?

  • blessings, brother.... be strong in the Lord!

  • Yes! Awesome!!! I love you my brother!

  • Awesome brother! always bring it back to the Word of God. Well put.

  • Haha. I knew it! Perfect.

  • Great video!!!

  • Nicely done, brother. :-)

  • thanks alot... been so lost.

  • I understand your point. There is, of course, no book on Earth that can compare to, or be a substitute for, the inspired Word of God. That said, there are a handful of books that I, personally, would, and sometimes do, recommend to Christians, that are of great spiritual value.

    God bless you, brother.

  • @enslaved2God John, sadly, many christians fill their libraries and heads with so many books, that they forget or neglect the one Book that does matter, the Bible. I like what Solomon said: And further, by these, my son, be admonished: of making many books there is no end; and much study is a weariness of the flesh. Ecclesiastes 12:12. There is nothing wrong with being well read, but when that takes the place of the diligent study of God's Word, it becomes an idol.

    God bless brother.

  • @ProclaimHisWord I agree, Mark.

  • I can't argue with that list whatsoever. Even better was the fact that none of the books of the Apocrypha were included.

  • Have to share this on Facebook. Awesomeness. Been trying to catch you on Skype brother Mark and we will chat soon

    Jim

  • hahahaha, yes. most def. God bless you and your family.

  • beautiful :) thank you.... just a note, The verse is "throughly furnished"... a slip no doubt on the video spelling. Throughly -- 12 times in Holy Bible; completely, fully, wholly, (Webster 1828). Thoroughly - 2 times in Holy Bible; fully, entirely, completely (Webster also) Looks the same definition, but there might be a differnce :) Great video God bless you :)

  • Inspired Video,...concept, format, and delivery!!!

  • Home run. /God wins

  • There you have it. Why we look to other places is beyond me. God bless you Mark.

  • I LOVE IT! This was great!

  • LOL.. THIS IS GENIUS!!!

  • You got me as i had my pen and paper ready to write down the name of some books I could go out and buy. Excellent video! God bless you.

  • Hahaha. Its good to see you brother. Where you been? Dont forget about some of my favorite books in the Apocrypha. One of my favorite books to quote out of is wisdom of Solomon. You will see what I mean if you visit my blog. 1611 King james!!!!

  • The bible is sufficient. Great video. I had a feeling you would do this.

Go into a Christian book store 55 years ago, the books other than bibles were on the Attributes of God or Jesus Christ. One of the great authors, like Spurgeon.

  • EXCELLENT VIDEO .I KNEW WHERE YOU WERE GOING WITH THIS ONE.I AGREE 100%.Bro.David.

  • I really like your videos and all but I really think you compromise a lot. Let me explain. Like I don't know if you hold to the Sovereignty of God in salvation, in regeneration as being of God alone. Or that salvation is a supernatural work of God whereby if any man is in Christ he is a new creature. Please let me know if I am wrong I don't want to be "judgmental". But I feel like you want to keep both camps happy...

  • @ArginGerigorian Wow! that is the very first time that i have ever been accused of compromise, usually i am accused of being a narrow-minded bigot! Go watch more of my videos and all of your questions will be answered. God bless.

  • @ArginGerigorian I'm not sure what video you watched, but I can attest that I've never seen Brother Mark in any video compromise the gospel ever. Furthermore this very video is a representation of a true believer that upholds the fact that man is fallible and scripture alone is Truth.

The only question I have for you is what phony christian "camp" can you identify that is happy as a result of Brother Mark's video's? I really would like to know.

  • Ah, I'm relieved! Amen!

  • Wise choice! They are the greatest books ever written. God bless you.

  • AMEN!!!! GREAT video, Mark.
