1. HOW can anyone base his beliefs on a product (scripture) of a time during which people had very low reasoning and understanding ability of the things around them (read earth is flat land floating in water and hanging stars from an inverted bowl of sky)? Haven't we come a long way from 1st century by figuring out the relation of various things and their interactions in nature and space? If we chose to not star-gaze, we would still be believing earth is flat among many other things.
@azdwnldazdwnld What does it have to do with anything in the video? Zeitgeist was destroyed in these videos. Not even the dumbest cultist can deny the arguments of the creator of the video.
@anticomuna Considering Zeitgeist as an anti-religion propaganda is very naive. Please research further. I was asking to not live in the past. Stop reiterating what was written in some books for centuries together hoping for something to happen. That's an absolute waste of time and if God exists, he would be utmost unhappy with the way people waste time on their version of God. Act towards designing a better future. Meaning, improvement of technology for sustainable future and abundance.
@azdwnldazdwnld What does anything you have said have to do with the video and Zeitgeist lies? For someone proposing a "better future" starting with a lie is a very bad sign, isn't it? Would you trust someone who use lies to further their own agenda?
@anticomuna What I was saying is obvious. I would suggest you to stop asking me and instead, open up your thought to grasp the larger picture.
Considering beliefs as "truths" is the choice a human being makes. And in many cases people stick to that choice as it is imposed on them through their environment as they grow up. Religious aspect of zeitgeist, for me, is a collection of radical thoughts aimed against such established belief systems we are programmed to believe in.
@azdwnldazdwnld I would like to ask one question and that is how can we believe that these ancient empires every existed then? because by your logic we should not even recognize the existence of ancient Rome, Greece and Egypt that your 'teacher' have borrowed all their beliefs from, and also that we should not believe that events such as World War I and WWII are made up. The problem with your reasoning about we would believe the earth is still flat is that even scientist believe that the earth
@azdwnldazdwnld was flat, actually this was false that people believed the earth was flat. If you did your research you would find out that not until the 19th century did a popular amount of people believe that in the Middle Ages people believed that the earth was flat, this lie was spread by Washington Irving in his fantasy The Life and Voyages of Christopher Columbus in 1828. May Jesus forgive you for your sins and open your eyes to the truth, i'll pray for you
your understanding of my comments is pretty skewed.
i was suggesting to STOP LIVING IN THE PAST. make your future. that should answer your question(s).
it is sad that you wish for other's wellness (pray) only after you interact with them. i was asking to go much further. wish for everyone's wellness, and contrary to just praying, implement your thoughts by supporting the technology that directly eases our pain. It will not be easy for you to accept it but i wish you will.
2.When people were lacking rational explanation to understand the things they see, doesn't it make sense that, they believed in fabricated explanations (stories about Gods) manifested through their imagination merely based on their experiences/observations? Obviously, such stories would answer their questions about life and everything thus related but none of them were unpredictable revelations even to the people of their own time. They consisted of easy ways out for all the questions. MIRACLES.
3. Such stories (about miracles of Gods) merely serve to satisfy people's thirst for answers to many questions (some of which we yet have to know) until someone who looks at things in a different perspective (Copernicus, Galileo, Newton, etc) using contemporary technology and unbiased interpretation of observations, with more profound reasoning, for the rest of the world to see and understand. Let's gain knowledge through EXPERIMENTATION and OBSERVATION but not through irrelevant SCRIPTURES.
And to think i believed these people.Jordan Maxwell,Archarya S.,David Icke etc...Now i am going to have to reevaluate my decision of being against christianity.
Before you suck yourself back into religiious fundementalism, may I suggest you spend time checking out 3 videos on my playlist you can get from my page. The 1st is "alchemy" (the sacred secrets revealed). The 2nd: "Manly :P. Hall: Orientation Of Hermetic Philosophy" & the 3rd: "Robert Anton Wilson: The New Inquisition". That should be plenty of material to reconsider a 2nd (intellitical & spiritual) suicide attempt! I also suggest checking out my Terence McKenna & the Tao Te Ching playlist.
Gnosticism is satans lie in the garden of eden... that if you gain special divine knowledge (gnosis) you can have God consciousness or become enlightened... and all the guys Bodhi just names, Manly P Hall and the like are luciferian, gnostic, satanist, etc...all the same thing in the end...you become "your own god". I was deceived by the "new age" movement, and Gnosticism...read a few of Halls books, eastern religions, etc...then i God showed me (KJV) this goes back to babylon in the NWO.
this is the new world religion pushed by the UN... Manly P. Hall wrote half the books maxwell, acharya, zeitgeist, and the like quote... he gained the highest levels of freemasonry without having to do anything because he earned it with his vast research in the occult and "secret teachings" of the ages... gnosticism etc. why are they tied to such evil? because they do the work of their father...the devil. willingly or not, ignorantly or willingly ignorant.
@2012ISDECEPTION Forget about for or against. Belief in any ideology or any ism means you compromise your analytical skills to some level. Take all that suits your passions... not beliefs.
nothing about this lady says scholar. She does not sound at all like an expert at her craft. She sounds like an average person to me. Are we positively sure that she wrote all those books?
sorry to hog up the coment page. I had to use the (dotcom) symbol instead of the ". com" in order to get through the censors. So if you check out the sites I posted, use the correct ". com". Don't put your hopes up high that Mettinger will save your myths. If he claimed that there are no resserection gods before christianity, that can be easily disputed. go to those sites. Mettinger vs Acharya in a scollarly comparison. Who has more credentials? imyoursuperior2 she has several degrees.
My responce to theTND Mettinger statement is to go to "forums(dot)truthbeknown(dotcom)/viewtopic(dot)php?t=2354". another responce: "rationalresponders(dotcom)/forum/16007" scroll down to the bottom. As stated, this is a straw hat argument and that no modern day schollar supports the reserrection view is somewhat riduculaus. What is Mr. Mettinger's credentials on the subject? Would he hold out on a good debate? This attempt to support a mythologal religion & the existance of Jesus is amusing
Did you miss the part that Mettinger was a scource for Acharya S. Is it a strong argument when your sources disagree with you? The real amusing part is the people who willingly blind themselves and ignorantly go along with these undeniable jokers. All because of a blind hatred and reviling for Christ. But Christ said this stuff would happen a couple thousand years ago, so I guess it's no surprise.
It's NOT a blind hatred for Christ you alude to, It's a disgust for Christianity which has NOTHING to do with ancient teachings presented through a mythical figure called Jesus, which were many of during that time. It soesn't matter if you are a Catholic, Baptist, Pentercostal, "non denominational", etc., your Christianity is the same bi-product of Constantine/Pauline Orthodoxy which won over my side, the Hermetic/Gnostic Christians & has spent the last 1700 years to this day trying to whipe out
I'm surprised she knows how to pronounce the name Persephone. I think it's the first one she has right so far. So, did she finish her first year of college after all?
They're both fruit loops. The only sad part is that people out there are gullible enough to believe them. They're not even trying to be unbiased at this point; they obviously hate Christians and are just insane, New Age conspiracy theorists.
She did the same earlier in the series when she quoted the greek word for "resurrection" which is "anastasis," which correctly means "to stand again" or "to be upright" again. I suppose if you're a pagan, saying something in another language changes its meaning, but to us greeks, "anastasi" means "resurrection" plain and simple.
In fact, in Greek Orthodox Christian mass, during Easter, there is a hymn we sing known as "Christos Anesti" which literally means "Christ is Risen."
depends on wether your using old "street" greek. The new testement was written in this language, like the english bible being written in old english. so in old steet greek, "parthenos" could mean "mystery virgin". so again when you critique her greek, are we speking of modern greek or ancient greek?

Why is Acharya S quoting the greek words for the topics she is covering? In this video, she said "He's called 'parthenos'"
Being greek, I can tell you that the word "parthenos" simply means "virgin," and not, some sort of "mystery virgin" as she would have us believe.
