N97 is one of those devices that has every feature but at a limited level. Camera but 5MP, Video but VGA, Processor but 434mhz, touch screen but resistive, Nokia touch UI interface but not touch optimized, Symbian and app support but s60v5. It gives you everything but at such a limited constraint. I recently upgraded to iPhone 4S and I have to say the touch experience and functionality reaffirms my decision of switching to Apple despite 8 years with Nokia.

In iPhone there is little boring homescreen. Just wallpaper, time, battery, signal etc and unlocking things. In Nokia, you have nice widgets and easy access to Dialler etc, and if you dont like widgets, just hide them.

the iphone 3GS/4 u can jailbreak and get free apps and they don't lag

the iphone 4 has also a better music player than nokia n97. the n97 doesnt support other languages unlike the iphone which supports nearly most language

the iphone is much more simple and easier to use. the n97 doesnt have as much apps as the iphone

in memory wise the n97 would win since it can act as your mini hard drive

You need to save it via your pc and then drag it to iTunes then sync...While you can on the N97 straight away...
