  • it's called a turning STAG you morons who taught you to dance.. was it barney or elmo ooooohhh or maybe the muppets yep it was the muppets

  • just think, these people are in their 20s and 9/10 have been dancing since they were 3. thats *points at video* what happens after 17+ years.

  • thenks. this really helped me get this down. my teacher was impressed. :)

  • I am so trying this hahaha!

  • I love how these girls aren't stick figures, and they still dance amazingly. It is proving a point to other dance studios who don't accept you unless you're anorexic.

  • me either dude...i think i have the flexibility, but i dnt have the hops. i cannot get in the air for nething n the world lol

  • I can do a regular firebird....but I'm kind of scared to try to turn it lol.

  • Hey, expert village, IN YO FACE!

  • They make it look so easy! I fell on my face the first time I tried this haha!

  • most of my teachers say im one of the best in the class and i didnt even know this existed

  • Nice turning jump really glad I hooked up with you today.... LOve seeing new stuff

  • these are really hard. it took me about four weeks to perfect it. and my back cracks everytime i do it. lol

  • arch more!(:

  • i cant get my opposite leg up completely!

  • I would've thought a tour jete would've been a different leg movement.

  • At my dance studio we start backwards and then we wont have to like to that extra switch kick and we call it the firebird as well.

  • we call those kinds of leaps off centers. and this kind of jump we call a scorpion

  • what is the leap called where the front leg is the same as a front leap but the back leg is touching your head??

  • i think it is called a calypso, fan leaf, adduite leap

  • There are a few: the firebird and the calypso. But in a calypso, your back leg doesn't touch the head because it's in an attitude. :]

  • wow that one was beautiful.. can you please put chase, chase, firebird leap? same thing, simply without the turn. i would like to see your technique.

  • OH my gosh I'm so jealous of you people.I can't do half that stuff but I must be good at something since my ballet teacher picked me for a lead part in our show this year. I can't believe it. I hope I don't fall on my face on the stage now.

  • Ugh I spent three weeks of dance camp learning how to do that, I got it, and then I forgot...

  • Dang it!!! When ever i try to do this it turns into a Tourchete or how ever you spell it.

  • Ballet is so much better!!!!!!!

  • lol this is easy

  • those r hard.

    almost there tho!

  • i wish i could do that...

  • i've never heard of these. but i have got to learn how to do that!

  • dang. that was good.

  • Bug I'm jelous of you people. I want to get into a dance academie and can't hardly do any of this :S

  • @PunkBallet well maybe you should start out at a lower level studio and then work your way up, your insturctors will teach you the basics and then work on leaps like these. thats what i did. if you want to get into dance, go for it, it is remarkable and so rewarding. best of luck :)
