1) Jesus' birth is October 21.(Luke 2: 8) shepherds stayed with their flocks in the fields only from Spring to Autumn. It is thus unlikely that the shepherds are out in December.
2) Jesus' disciples is more than 120 during His ascension.
3) The VCHIP or as the Bible described in Revelation 13:16-18 as the mark of the beast.
4) Only the Bible predicted all these things, & you might as well believe that only Jesus saves before it's too late!

The 3rd part having to do with the Federal Reserve, Money, and it's control on people made a very good point, but the 1st part about religion kinda felt like they were just LOOKING for whatever similarities they could find without doing any research.
But the whole point of the film I think is just to make you think, not necessarily to agree with it.
coming from new zealand i have watched the movie twice i could see how americans should be worried about the media and government but its not only americans who will become slaves to the "elite few" the whole world will be put under there control unless people around the world partically americans do something about it and like you said "start seeing the bigger picture outside the naive bubble humans are starting to live in.
about the microchips... here, in the Netherlands a certain club has their customers chipped. people are almost begging for it instead of fighting it. i believe most new cars, even babies, get chipped.
i'm what they call a 'Christian'. but most churchmembers are completely ignorant of these things.
they believe the Israelites, are back in their country, that there will be an eternally lasting punishment when you die unsaved etc.
