Do what other channels have done and do original music! You are talented! Lonely Island does their own comedy songs, so does Weird Al Yankovic annnnnnnnnddddddddd....You don't even have to do comedy songs only. You could make some more serious music too. We just love your talent and your voice....don't take that away and we will follow you anywhere. Just sing to us.
It's cool, man. You gotta feed the fam, and besides, I like your originals much better. You've got some real talent and it would be a shame to waste it doing parodies of other people's songs. Parodies are funny, but mostly in small doses. However, Popstar and Bad Grammar will always be my personal favorites.
Mistakes are made and you learn from them James. I dont really understand what the issue is. You post a Vlog, if your a 'non vlog watcher' dont press play. I dont see how thats too much work for some, but hey, as the saying goes (and im paraphrasing here) "if you film it, we will watch"
I'm not trying to be rude, but dude you you only put out 1 maybe 2 videos a week. If you made more blogs then you would probably get more views. I don't mind them on one channel, but the point remains. If you put out a new video a day or something like that, then you would get more people.
I don't care what channel you are on. Just keep uploading awesome content, and I will watch, like and favorite. Do what you have to do for your family. The real fans will stick by you 8-)
If they're gonna unsub over something that silly you don't want 'em anyways...family comes first and you're you no matter if it's vlogs or parodies, so one channel works fine, go for it ;D

Do what you have to do James. If your not happy with what your doing, then it will show in your creative output anyway and turn off subscribers anyway. If it helps you, I didn't think moving the vlogs to the other channel just to appease part of your subscriber base was a good idea anyway. BTW, I did like your Rebecca Black parody and that isn't even my type of music.

While I understand the need for money, I personally thought you enjoyed doing parodies for the sake of doing parodies. Thus I watched because you seemed to be doing what you liked.
I don't think you should expect people to watch your vlogs though as a source of income. I think people started watching them because you did something else they liked and wanted to hear more about future projects and then a bit about the life of their favorite singer.

To be honest James, the people that will cry about you merging the channels back and unsub are pretty selfish in my eyes, you do the best you can to keep everyone happy, but when it comes down to it, there still will be some that will QQ and you need to think of your family first (some don't understand that). Your true fans will follow you to what ever channel you will go on, we support you and agree on whatever you decide to do. The True @warriors will never unsub! :D

James your videos never fail to make me laugh honestly, your parodies are so original and your vlogs are incredibly funny, just keep doing what you do man and any people who unsubscribed will flow back, along with tons of new subscribers im sure! Keep it up dude! :)

While I understand the need for money, I personally thought you enjoyed doing parodies for the sake of doing parodies. Thus I watched because you seemed to be doing what you liked.
I don't think you should expect people to watch your vlogs though as a source of income. I think people started watching them because you did something else they liked and wanted to hear more about future projects and then a bit about the life of their favorite singer.

Supporting you in whatever you do! I subscribed to you because I like you as a person, and appreciate what you do on YouTube. Your parodies are always my favourites, because you handle them in a way I don't see much. Buuut yeah, excited to see you get to do original songs as well. :D <3

James -- Do what you've got to do and what works best for you and your family, hon. :) I'm eating chocolate so I can't get too depressed about it anyway. ;) As far as people who may unsubscribe because of the change -- oh well, they aren't true fans or at warriors anyway. To be honest James, the people that will cry about you merging the channels back and unsub are pretty selfish in my eyes, you do the best you can to keep everyone happy, but when it comes down to it, there still will be some that will QQ and you need to think of your family first (some don't understand that). Your true fans will follow you to what ever channel you will go on, we support you and agree on whatever you decide to do. The True @warriors will never unsub! :D

Yeah, i think you should do what's best for you. Anybody who complains doesn't deserve you to put in all the hard work for their entertainment anyway. If anything, merging the channels will make it easier for everyone who follows both, as it'll be concentrated into one channel xD Good Luck James :D

I think your decision is a good one. You work so hard on these videos and your true fans won't mind the channel switch. Besides, with the new youtube sub boxes the whiners will be able to click X on whatever video they just don't want to watch. :D
And as a viewer, I appreciate the update. We are a community here on youtube and we want the best for each other.
