@ 34axt That was the Real Yes too!..just a different incarnation..with Trevor injecting new & fresh ideas, creativity, & inspiration to the other band members & into Yes itself..I just don't get why so many people fail to understand how responsible Trevor is for bringing Yes back to life & in so many creative areas. Even if you're not a fan of his influence, at least understand & respect all the good he did do for the band..Without Trevor, Yes would have ceased to exist after they broke up in 81
Talk was a VERY underrated album. My favorite really. I like Steve Howe but have seen Rabin in different hats and I believe Rabin had the upper hand in terms of production and playing. The band was killing in 1994. Great stuff.
Respectfully, do you want Tony Kaye on keyboards and Peter Banks on guitar? That is the real YES. Tevor is a bridge just like Steve Howe, Rick Wakeman, and Alan White were. It's in the family.
@34xati Jon & Rick hold much esteem & regard for Trevor's talents, as Jon & Trevor have been songwriting together the last few years & now they & Rick are planning their own trio & officially planning to record an album & do some sort of live shows as a trio. Also, when Trevor was with Yes, he saved the band when they had officially broken up, he was one of their chief songwriters, sang, played keys, piano, bass, arranged, engineered, & produced. That was the REAL Yes
So adorable the way Trevor and Chris kid around, and their musical interplay benefits from it...they truly are having fun and their comaraderie shines through in their performance and musicianship..love this song...one of their best, as so was the entire talk album...gorgeous songwriting.
I was also at that Orlando show!! And my g/f was also pissed. I ignored her. Yes was Excellent. Wish they would do one more tour with the great Trevor Rabin!!
Damn, I've never heard a "Yes" song with Jon mixed so far into the background (except at the end)...but this is just an average formula-driven Rabin song.
Me and my friends had a privilege to see this tour(TalkTour) in Brazil. Was one of the best shows that we have seen in our lives. With Trevor, YES was the best band of the world! Great song, great album, great video. Thank you!
I was one of the few people in Western NC to buy this album in March 1994 -- I took it up to Sunburst for an overnight campout, and as I listened to this song, I glanced upward to see a falling star. That autumn, I met my future wife and we're still together after nearly 15 years!

The little guitar that Jon Anderson is playing, is a Puerto Rican cuatro.

Rare seeing Chris playing a Fender jazz .. sounds Geddy'ish .. lol .. Mind you it doesn't matter what bass he's playing ... he's a legend !!!

Trevor = Yes = 10
Howe = Yes = 6
Please come back and make a final tour, playing 90125 & Talk only ...

Great song. A shame that this lineup broke up soon after this year.

The first rock song I ever heard as a child...and it's progressive rock. Yes!
TheHillDirector 3 years ago
Sort of.. more like Rabin-like Pop. The progressive Yes died a long time ago and came back only recently.
