Francis speaks of the phone company running fiber optic cable to replace the old stuff, well, it's June 2009, and it hasn't happened the way it was predicted....even 6 years ago, tech shows talked about fiber optic being the way to go...investing in them etc. I even remember General Haig hosting a hip program on the weekend and saying fiber optic would be the way...so what happened?

What year was this? late 80s/early 90s? Pre-digital-storage/restoratio­n, obviously. What good were those old computers ya see in the video, at the time, really haha Oh well-- he and Scorcese had the right idea, and would advocate film restoration to this day.... interesting video.
